Disney's Veterans Day Mickey collection lands at five Walt Disney World shops, with a Florida-only pin
Disney's Veterans Day merchandise collection is on sale now at one shop in each Walt Disney World theme park and at World of Disney in Disney Springs. The Mickey Mouse lineup has a T-shirt, spirit jersey, mug and cap, plus a commemorative pin sold only at Walt Disney World, and Magic Kingdom holds a Veterans Day Flag Retreat on November 11.

Disney's Veterans Day merchandise collection is on shelves now at Walt Disney World, with Mickey Mouse in patriotic designs drawn from every branch of the U.S. military. Five shops carry it, and Walt Disney World gets a commemorative pin that Disney lists for this resort only.

Mickey Mouse leads a four-piece Veterans Day lineup
The collection pairs Mickey Mouse with patriotic designs inspired by all branches of the U.S. military.
- Four core pieces. A T-shirt, a spirit jersey, a mug and a baseball cap make up the main collection.
- Walt Disney World pin. A special commemorative pin is part of the release, and Disney says it will be available at Walt Disney World Resort.
- Every branch represented. The designs draw on all branches of the U.S. military rather than a single service.
- Also in California. The same collection is sold at Disneyland Resort, though Disney names Walt Disney World only for the pin.
Disney pitches the pieces as much for gifting as for park days, made to recognize veterans, active-duty service members and the military families who stand beside them.
Where to buy it at Walt Disney World
One shop in each of the four theme parks carries the collection, plus World of Disney at Disney Springs.
- Magic Kingdom. The Emporium, the large shop that runs along Main Street, U.S.A.
- EPCOT. Creations Shop, the main store near the front of the park in World Celebration.
- Hollywood Studios. Mickey's of Hollywood, the shop on Hollywood Boulevard just inside the entrance.
- Animal Kingdom. Discovery Trading Company on Discovery Island, the hub around the Tree of Life.
- Disney Springs. World of Disney, the big character store in the shopping district's Marketplace area.
Disney notes that theme park admission and reservations may be required where applicable, so the four park shops are for guests with a ticket that day. Disney Springs has no admission charge.
Flag Retreat at Magic Kingdom on November 11
Magic Kingdom marks Veterans Day itself with a special Flag Retreat ceremony.
- Veterans Day ceremony. A special Veterans Day Flag Retreat takes place at Magic Kingdom on November 11, with one at Disneyland park the same day.
- Daily tradition. Magic Kingdom lowers the flag in Town Square every afternoon, and the Veterans Day edition is a larger version of that ceremony.
- Military families month. Through November, Disney teams will mark National Veterans and Military Families Month with recognition, stories and tributes.
Disney describes the ceremonies as a tradition many guests and cast members return to, a pause to reflect on the service of the men and women who have worn the uniform.
Walt and Roy O. Disney both served in World War I
Disney ties the collection to its founders, who both answered the call to serve during World War I.
- Yearly release. Disney describes the Veterans Day collection as an annual tradition honoring veterans and military families.
- Founders served. Walt Disney and Roy O. Disney both served their country during World War I, the start of a legacy Disney says spans more than a century.
- Ongoing recognition. Disney says it continues to honor service members through programs, experiences, community events and special moments of recognition.

Shop before November 11, while supplies last
The collection is a limited run with no end date or restock promised.
- No end date. Disney lists the collection as available while supplies last rather than through a set date.
- Pin location. The commemorative pin is the one piece Disney ties to Walt Disney World, so buy it on this side of the country.
Our take. If you are in the parks around November 11, pair the shopping with the Veterans Day Flag Retreat: the Emporium sits on Main Street, U.S.A., a short walk from Town Square. Anyone without a park ticket can still find the collection at World of Disney in Disney Springs.
