Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using GenieGrove ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

GenieGrove is operated by Grove Realms. These Terms form a legal agreement between you and Grove Realms.

Description of Service

GenieGrove is a Disney fan community and planning platform providing:

• News and editorial coverage across Disney Parks, Marvel, Star Wars, Disney+, Lorcana, Cruises, and other Disney franchises
• Live park wait times, crowd predictions, and trip-planning tools
• Genie Magic — an automated Lightning Lane booking assistant
• A Disney entity database, Lorcana deck builder, and pin trading tracker
• Community forums and discussions
• User accounts, profiles, bookmarks, and subscriptions via Grove Plus

User Accounts

Account Creation

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

Disney Account Integration

To use Genie Magic and certain park-data features, you may choose to link your My Disney Experience ("MDX") account to GenieGrove. By linking your Disney account, you understand and agree that:

• You authorize GenieGrove to access and interact with your Disney account on your behalf for the sole purpose of operating the services you have enabled
• You must continue to comply with Disney's Terms of Use and any park rules
• We will securely store authentication material using industry-standard encryption
• You can unlink your Disney account at any time through your profile settings
• You remain fully responsible for all activity that occurs on your Disney account, including any bookings made on your behalf
• Violations of Disney's policies may result in suspension or termination from GenieGrove

Username Requirements

Your username must be unique and cannot:

• Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• Contain offensive, inappropriate, or misleading content
• Violate any trademark or intellectual property rights
• Include personal information of others

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Post, transmit, or distribute harmful, offensive, or illegal content
• Engage in harassment, bullying, or discriminatory behavior
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Interfere with the normal operation of the Service
• Use automated systems, scrapers, or bots to access the Service without permission
• Share account credentials with others
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or rate limits
• Use Genie Magic or other integrations in a way that violates Disney's Terms of Use
• Resell, sublicense, or commercialize Lightning Lane reservations obtained through the Service

Genie Magic Booking Service

Genie Magic is an automation assistant that attempts to secure Lightning Lane return times on your behalf, based on parameters you configure. By using Genie Magic, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Service Operation

• Genie Magic operates at your direction using credentials and parameters you provide
• All bookings are made through your own linked Disney account and are subject to Disney's pricing, availability, and rules
• Genie Magic does not resell Lightning Lane passes; Disney sells the passes directly to you
• Your subscription fee compensates GenieGrove for the automation service — not for Lightning Lane passes themselves

No Guarantee of Availability

Lightning Lane availability is controlled entirely by Disney. We cannot and do not guarantee that any specific return time, attraction, or date will be available. We make reasonable efforts to book the parameters you specify, but outcomes depend on Disney's inventory, your Disney account status, and factors outside our control.

Your Responsibilities

• You must ensure your Disney account is in good standing, funded (where required), and has valid park tickets or reservations
• You are solely responsible for any charges made to your Disney account, including Lightning Lane purchases and Genie+ fees
• You remain responsible for showing up at your booked return times — we do not refund missed slots
• You agree to monitor your Disney account and notify us of any unauthorized activity

Suspension by Disney

If Disney changes its systems, terms, or rate limits in a way that restricts or disables Genie Magic, we may pause or discontinue the service in whole or in part. We will notify active subscribers and provide pro-rated refunds where applicable.

Subscriptions & Payments

Grove Plus and Genie Magic Plans

Certain features — including Genie Magic and Grove Plus — require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay the applicable fees disclosed at the time of purchase
• Provide a valid payment method processed by our payment provider (currently Stripe)
• Allow recurring charges at the billing cadence you selected until you cancel

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not retroactively refund the current period unless otherwise required by law or stated below.

Refunds

Our full refund policy — including eligibility, the request process, and chargeback policy — is available on our Refund Policy page. To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order ID and reason.

Price Changes

We may change subscription pricing. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price change takes effect at their next renewal.

Content and Intellectual Property

User Content

By posting content on GenieGrove (comments, threads, reviews, tier lists, decks, etc.), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with the Service.

Disney Content

GenieGrove is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Walt Disney Company, Marvel Entertainment, Lucasfilm Ltd., Pixar, or any of their subsidiaries.

All Disney content — including Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Pixar, and Lucasfilm artwork, character names, and trademarks; park attraction names, ride artwork, and imagery; movie posters, film titles, and promotional material; Disney Lorcana card artwork and branding; and The My Disney Experience service — remains the exclusive property of its respective owner.

Third-Party Content

GenieGrove sources supplementary data from third-party APIs and community resources, credited on our Attributions page. All other third-party content and trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information, including data received when you link your Disney account.

By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and Limitations

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GenieGrove shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, including but not limited to:

• Missed Lightning Lane return times or failed bookings
• Disney park closures, ride downtime, or wait-time inaccuracies
• Actions taken by Disney on your account (including suspensions or refusals of service)
• Loss of bookmarks, collections, or user-generated content
• Downtime, maintenance, or service interruptions

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in prohibited activities listed under Acceptable Use
• Provide false or misleading information
• Abuse Genie Magic in a way that risks your Disney account or ours
• Fail to pay applicable subscription fees
• Violate Disney's Terms of Use or other applicable policies

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. Deleting your GenieGrove account will unlink any connected Disney account and remove stored authentication material from our systems. It will not affect your Disney account itself.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
