A Main Street Mickey Plush and a Four-Park Patch Backpack Join the 55th Anniversary Line
Disney has previewed two more pieces of Walt Disney World 55th Anniversary merchandise: a Mickey Mouse plush dressed as a citizen of Main Street, U.S.A. holding a 55th Anniversary pennant, and a backpack covered in patches for all four theme parks. The collection is heading to the Emporium at Magic Kingdom and Creations Shop at EPCOT, with no release date or prices announced.

Disney has added two pieces to the Walt Disney World 55th Anniversary merchandise collection: a Mickey Mouse plush dressed as a citizen of Main Street, U.S.A., and a backpack covered in patches for all four theme parks. Both join the hoodie, t-shirt and ear headband shown last month, and the whole line is heading to the Emporium and Creations Shop.

Key Details
- New pieces: Main Street citizen Mickey Mouse plush, four-park patch backpack
- Already revealed: Hoodie, t-shirt, ear headband
- Where: The Emporium at Magic Kingdom, Creations Shop at EPCOT, plus select other locations
- Release date: Not announced
- Prices: Not announced
A Main Street Mickey and a Four-Park Backpack
The plush is the more interesting of the two. Mickey Mouse is dressed for the occasion in striped trousers, a light blue vest and a boater hat, holding a small pennant flag bearing the 55th Anniversary logo. That is a deliberate costume: the striped-trouser, vest and boater combination is the look of a turn-of-the-century Main Street, U.S.A. performer, the same visual language as the Dapper Dans and the Main Street Philharmonic.

The backpack is covered in patches representing Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom, with a large 55th Anniversary emblem on the front panel. Its patch approach mirrors the hoodie already shown off, spreading references across all four parks rather than favouring one.
That is the through-line of this collection. Several pieces reuse the same patch and badge motifs, including the new backpack, which gives the line a consistent identity rather than the usual anniversary approach of stamping one logo onto unrelated products.
What Was Already Revealed
The pieces from the first preview are still the backbone of the collection. There is a light blue t-shirt featuring Mickey Mouse in front of Cinderella Castle, a navy blue hoodie carrying four park patches, and a sparkling navy ear headband covered in illustrated park icons.

Taken with the new plush and backpack, the lineup leans heavily on classic park nostalgia rather than on any current film or franchise. For a 55th anniversary, that is the right call: the milestone is the resort itself, and the merchandise is being built to say so.
Where to Find It: The Emporium and Creations Shop
Disney says the collection is coming soon to the Emporium and Creations Shop, plus select other locations. Both are flagship retail spaces rather than side shops. The Emporium runs most of the length of Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom and is the highest-traffic store on the property. Creations Shop anchors shopping at EPCOT near the park's entrance.

Choosing those two as the launch locations tells you Disney expects volume. It also means guests visiting Disney's Hollywood Studios or Disney's Animal Kingdom will need to hunt for the select other locations, which have not been named.
Where the 55th Anniversary Stands
This is the second wave of previews for the anniversary. The first revealed the hoodie, t-shirt and ear headband along with the first look at the official anniversary logo. D23 subsequently shared a clearer look at that logo ahead of an October 4 event at Disney's Contemporary Resort celebrating the milestone.

Walt Disney World opened on October 1, 1971, which puts the 55th anniversary on October 1, 2026. A D23 event at the Contemporary on October 4 and merchandise arriving in the flagship stores before then is the shape of a celebration building toward the start of October rather than a single day.
The Buzz
Anniversary merchandise at Walt Disney World has a track record of selling out fast and then reappearing at a markup, and the 50th anniversary set the expectation that these collections get several waves. A Mickey plush in Main Street costume with a 55th pennant is the sort of piece that becomes the collectable of the run, and it is arriving without a price or a date attached.
Still Missing: A Release Date and Any Prices
Disney has published neither a specific release date nor pricing for this collection. What is confirmed is the lineup so far, the two flagship stores, and the October 4 D23 event at Disney's Contemporary Resort.
If you are travelling in late September or early October and want any of this, the practical plan is to check the Emporium and Creations Shop early in your trip rather than saving shopping for the last day. Anniversary drops at Walt Disney World rarely stay on the shelf, and a plush and a backpack are the two formats most likely to go first.
