Five Walt Disney World s'mores, from a made-to-order Ganachery bar to a Soarin' milkshake

The Ganachery at Disney Springs toasts its marshmallows to order and finishes every s'more with a powdered sugar Mickey, and a new Pumpkin Spice S'more has joined the case for fall. Four more versions are scattered across Disney Springs, EPCOT and Magic Kingdom, including a Nutella croissant, a milkshake garnished with a Soarin' hang glider, and a layered cup at Columbia Harbour House.

Walt Disney World is selling five different s'mores right now, and only one of them resembles the thing a guest would build over a campfire. The other four are a croissant, a milkshake, a barbecue counter dessert bar and a layered cup, spread across Disney Springs, EPCOT and Magic Kingdom.

The Ganachery assembles its s'more to order

The Ganachery has been on the Disney Springs map for a decade, and its s'more is put together after the order goes in rather than pulled from a case. A cast member toasts the marshmallow to golden over the counter, no campfire involved, while a graham cracker layered with caramel waits underneath as the base.

The marshmallow goes on next, then one of the shop's signature in-house chocolates, melted and finished with a pinch of sea salt. Pressed together, the whole thing gets a powdered sugar Mickey Mouse dusted across the top.

Building them is Tyler, a Disney cast member, chocolatier and Assistant Sous Chef who started in the Disney College Program working at EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios before moving to the much smaller chocolate shop.

The layout is part of the draw even for people who are not buying. Tyler points to the shop's big open window, which leaves the whole operation visible from the walkway. Guests can watch the team scaling recipes, batching ganache and decorating chocolates from open to close, then pick from the finished pieces at the front counter.

For fall, The Ganachery has added a Pumpkin Spice S'more, one of a run of autumn food and drink items arriving at Disney Springs over the next few months.

Four more versions across Disney Springs, EPCOT and Magic Kingdom

A few minutes' walk away at Amorette's Patisserie, the S'mores Croissant puts Nutella chocolate and marshmallow inside the flaky, buttery layers the bakery is known for.

At EPCOT the s'more turns liquid. Sunshine Seasons, in The Land pavilion, serves the S'morin' Across America Milk Shake: a s'mores shake topped with toasted marshmallow, a chocolate bar, a graham cracker and a Soarin' hang glider garnish, a nod to the attraction a few steps away.

Over in the American Adventure pavilion, Regal Eagle Smokehouse takes the smoke literally. Its S'mores Bar layers a fudge brownie, dark chocolate, toasted meringue and a smoked graham cracker. It is the only version on this list that puts smoke back into the cracker instead of leaving it to the marshmallow.

As summer gives way to fall, Magic Kingdom adds one more. Columbia Harbour House in Liberty Square is serving the S'mores Cup, which layers graham cracker pieces, chocolate ganache, popping chocolate candies, milk chocolate panna cotta and marshmallow cream, and is pitched squarely at the resort's Halloween season.

Two of the five need no park ticket

The Ganachery and Amorette's both sit at Disney Springs, which charges nothing to enter and stays open late. Those two are the only ones on the list reachable without a theme park ticket, which makes them an arrival evening or travel day stop rather than a park day one.

The other three are split between two parks. Collecting the milkshake, the smokehouse bar and the S'mores Cup in a single day needs a Park Hopper. The simpler route is to pair the two EPCOT stops, since Sunshine Seasons and Regal Eagle Smokehouse are both inside that park, and leave the Magic Kingdom cup for another day.

Timing matters on two of them. The Pumpkin Spice S'more and the S'mores Cup are tied to the fall calendar rather than a permanent menu, so neither is a year-round order. The Ganachery's made-to-order s'more, the croissant, the milkshake and the smokehouse bar are the four that have stayed put.
