Refund Policy

This Refund Policy describes when and how GenieGrove issues refunds for paid features — including Grove Plus subscriptions and Genie Magic booking-service charges. It supplements our Terms of Service and applies to all paid customers.
Grove Plus Subscriptions
Grove Plus is a recurring subscription. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund the current period.
When we issue refunds
- Pro-rated refund on discontinuation: if we materially discontinue a core paid feature within your billing period.
- Duplicate charges: we will refund any duplicate or accidental charges within 60 days of the charge.
- Service outages: sustained, attributable outages of core paid features may qualify for a pro-rated credit or refund.
When we don't issue refunds
- Cancelled subscriptions for the unused portion of a billing period (you keep access until period end).
- Charges where the service was successfully delivered as described.
- Forgotten cancellations — please cancel before your renewal date.
Genie Magic Booking Service
Genie Magic charges a per-trip or per-watch fee for our automated Lightning Lane booking service. Refund eligibility depends on outcome:
Fully refundable
- The watch never produced a booked Lightning Lane and you did not modify your underlying Disney itinerary as a result of Wait Magic activity.
- Duplicate or accidental charges processed within the last 60 days.
- Watches that were cancelled before any polling cycle began.
Case-by-case
- Bookings that materially differed from what you requested (wrong attraction, outside time window, wrong party).
- Failures caused by Genie Magic where you have evidence of harm (e.g. lost reservation).
Not refundable
- Successful Lightning Lane bookings within your specified time window, even if you ultimately did not use them.
- Missed return times — you are responsible for being at the attraction during your window.
- Disney-imposed restrictions outside our control (capacity holds, ride closures, weather-driven cancellations, account-level eligibility limits).
How to Request a Refund
Email [email protected] with the following information:
- The email address on your GenieGrove account
- The order or invoice ID (visible in your account billing history)
- The reason for the request and any relevant context (attraction, time window, screenshots)
We aim to respond within 2 business days and to issue approved refunds to the original payment method within 5–10 business days depending on your bank or card issuer.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Chargebacks filed without first reaching out to [email protected] may result in account suspension and forfeiture of any pending Wait Magic credits. We will work with you in good faith on legitimate disputes.
