Walt Disney World PhotoPass Pictures Can Now Sync Straight to Shutterfly
Shutterfly is now the official photo gift partner of Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, Disneyland Resort and Aulani. Starting October 20, 2026, Walt Disney World guests can have their Disney PhotoPass pictures appear in a Shutterfly account automatically, and Disney Cruise Line Photo guests get a similar link in early 2027.

Walt Disney World guests can now have their Disney PhotoPass pictures land in a Shutterfly account on their own, with no separate download. The link starts October 20, 2026, the day Shutterfly was named official photo gift partner of Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise Line, Disneyland Resort and Aulani. Disney Cruise Line Photo follows in early 2027.

Key Details
- Announced: October 20, 2026, by Shutterfly and Disney
- Walt Disney World: PhotoPass sync to Shutterfly available starting October 20, 2026
- Disney Cruise Line: a similar link for Disney Cruise Line Photo starts in early 2027
- Where to shop: a new Disney hub on Shutterfly.com
How the PhotoPass sync to Shutterfly works
The new option moves Walt Disney World vacation photos from Disney PhotoPass into Shutterfly without any extra steps.
- Guests opt in. The sync is a choice: guests who turn it on see their PhotoPass photos appear automatically in their Shutterfly account.
- What PhotoPass is. Disney PhotoPass Service sends trained Disney photographers to set spots in the parks to take pictures of the whole party together.
- What gets made. Shutterfly can turn those synced photos into photo books, cards, gifts and other personalized keepsakes.
- Not Florida only. Disneyland Resort guests in California got the same PhotoPass option on the same day.
Disney frames the deal as a way to keep PhotoPass doing its job in the park, so the family stays in the moment, while the printing happens after the trip.
"Disney PhotoPass and Disney Cruise Line Photo help guests preserve the moments that make Disney Experiences unforgettable, with unique capture experiences and giving everyone the opportunity to be part of the picture," said Gary Daniels, Senior Vice President, Disney Products & Experiences. "Together with Shutterfly, we're making it easier for guests to bring those memories into their everyday lives through personalized keepsakes they can revisit and share for years to come."
Disney Cruise Line Photo joins the alliance
Cruise guests are part of the partnership, but their photo link arrives months after the parks.
- Cruise photos included. Disney Cruise Line Photo, the cruise line's own photography service, is named in the alliance alongside Disney PhotoPass.
- No month yet. Shutterfly and Disney gave only "early 2027" for the cruise version, with no exact date.
- Aulani on the same clock. Aulani, Disney's resort in Hawaii, gets its version on the same early 2027 timeline as the ships.
New Walt Disney World designs on Shutterfly.com
Shutterfly is adding park-themed collections and character designs that it sells only on its own site.
- Four park themes. New collections draw on Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom.
- Character designs. Expanded designs feature Toy Story, Winnie the Pooh, Cars and Mickey and Friends.
- Product range. The hub sells photo books, cards, home decor, games, ornaments and other personalized gifts.
- Licensing deal. The products come from an expanded Shutterfly agreement with Disney Consumer Products, the company's merchandise licensing arm.
- More planned. Shutterfly says more collections celebrating Disney experiences will be added over time.
Emily Whittaker, Shutterfly's chief executive, pitched the alliance as a bridge between the trip and the keepsake.
"We're honored to be part of the Disney experience, helping guests and fans hold onto the magic long after they return home," said Emily Whittaker, CEO of Shutterfly. "This alliance creates a seamless connection between the moment and the memory, offering new ways for guests and fans to revisit, share, and celebrate their favorite Disney experiences."
Park sync is live now, cruise timing is still open
The Walt Disney World link works today, while several details are still missing from the announcement.
- No prices given. The announcement lists no prices for the new park collections or character products.
- Online only. The park-inspired collections are sold only at Shutterfly.com, not in park shops.
- Cruise date open. Disney Cruise Line guests have no firm start date beyond early 2027.
Our take. If a Walt Disney World trip is coming up and a photo book is on your list, turn on the Shutterfly sync before you go so your PhotoPass pictures collect in one place. Cruise guests should not count on it until Disney names a month in 2027.
