Walt Disney World's 55th Anniversary Pins Arrive September 15, Starting at $21.99
Three Walt Disney World 55th anniversary pins are expected on September 15, priced from $21.99 to $39.99, with the two dearer designs limited to 5,000 pieces each. All three put Cinderella Castle at the center, and the largest adds Spaceship Earth, the Hollywood Tower Hotel and the Tree of Life. The release sheet lists it as a mini jumbo rather than a full jumbo pin.

Walt Disney World turns 55 on October 1, and the anniversary pins now have a date on them. Three 55th anniversary pins are expected on September 15 at $21.99, $24.99 and $39.99, and the two more expensive designs are limited editions of 5,000 pieces each.

What the release sheet lists
| Pin | Edition | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Cinderella Castle, "55 Magical Years" | Limited release | $21.99 |
| Mickey and Minnie, "Fifty Five" | Limited edition of 5,000 | $24.99 |
| Mini jumbo, four park icons | Limited edition of 5,000 | $39.99 |

The two smaller pins
The cheapest of the three is silver, red and light blue, with Cinderella Castle at the center, "55" in red, and "Magical Years" in white lettering across a blue ribbon. "Walt Disney World" runs in red along a second blue ribbon at the bottom. It is a limited release, which means no announced edition cap, and it is the only one of the three under $22.
The second goes blue, red and yellow, and puts Mickey and Minnie Mouse in front of a large "55" with Cinderella Castle between them. Mickey holds a flag reading "Fifty Five", and "Magical Years" sits along the bottom in dark blue. This one is capped at 5,000 pieces at $24.99.

The mini jumbo pin carries four park icons
The $39.99 design is the one worth a second look. Mickey wears a blue, red and white outfit in front of Cinderella Castle, and three more park icons sit around him in red, blue and yellow circles: Spaceship Earth, the Hollywood Tower Hotel and the Tree of Life. "Florida" is printed in blue above "Walt Disney World" at the top, with "55" at the bottom center and "Magical Years" in white beneath it. The edition is 5,000.
One detail worth flagging, because it changes what collectors should expect in the hand: the sheet lists this as a mini jumbo pin, not a jumbo. Full jumbo pins in the same September 15 group run larger and cost considerably more, with one of them listed at $84.99.

The Buzz
The 55th is the first resort wide Walt Disney World milestone since the 50th anniversary ended in March 2023, and the pin line is usually where a celebration takes visible shape first. The release sheet has been passing between collectors since the end of August, and September 15 is the first firm date attached to any 55th anniversary merchandise. Two of the three designs are capped at 5,000 pieces, small enough that collectors plan their release mornings around them.
What the 55th anniversary line looks like so far
Walt Disney World opened on October 1, 1971 with Magic Kingdom alone. EPCOT followed in 1982, Disney's Hollywood Studios in 1989 and Disney's Animal Kingdom in 1998, which is why a four icon design has become the standard way to draw the whole resort onto one piece of merchandise. The 50th anniversary ran from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2023, and nothing resort wide has followed it until now.

The pins are not the first 55th merchandise to surface. Gift card designs carrying the anniversary logo are already available, and a Main Street Mickey plush and a four park patch backpack joined the line at the start of September. The pins are the first anniversary items with a release date announced ahead of them rather than a shelf appearance.
September 15, $21.99 to $39.99, and no confirmed store list
What is settled: the date, the three prices and the two edition sizes. What is not: where the pins actually go on sale. The sheet gives an expected release date and says nothing about which Walt Disney World pin locations receive them, whether any of the three reaches shopDisney, or how 5,000 pieces are split across four parks and Disney Springs. At a resort this size, an edition of 5,000 does not sit long on a single counter.

The same sheet carries two more Walt Disney World items worth a note. A Halloween countdown calendar is listed as a Disney Springs release, an edition of 3,000 at $150, in the same September 15 group. A week later, on September 22, comes a Tiana's Bayou Adventure attraction map puzzle set sold one pin per blind box at $21.99, with a chaser pin limited to 200.

Anniversary day itself is October 1, which leaves a little over two weeks between the pins landing and the milestone they mark.
