Hitchhiking Ghosts on the Cover: A First Look at the 2026 Halloween Party Map
The 2026 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party map is out, and it is Haunted Mansion from cover to fold. Inside are the full showtimes for the parade, fireworks and the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, the specialty food callouts, and the complete trick-or-treat trail list broken down by land.

Cast members handed out the 2026 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party map well before the 7 p.m. start on opening night, and the cover set the tone for the whole event: Mickey, Goofy and Donald dressed as the Hitchhiking Ghosts, walking in front of a moonlit Cinderella Castle with a trick-or-treat bag and a small pumpkin in hand. The Haunted Mansion theme carries across the entire piece.

Entertainment and showtimes
The entertainment rundown sits just inside the front cover. Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular fireworks run at 10 p.m. above Cinderella Castle. Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade steps off in Frontierland at 8:15 p.m. and again at 11:15 p.m.
The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular runs three times on event nights from August 7 through September 29, at 9:05 p.m., 10:35 p.m. and midnight. From October 1 through 31 a fourth show gets added at 7:35 p.m., which is the single most useful line on the map for anyone attending in October: the early show is the least crowded of the four.
Beyond the headliners, the map lists Captain Jack's Buccaneer Bash on the Adventureland Stage, the Cadaver Dans barbershop quartet in Frontierland, Halloween programming in Storybook Circus, the Destination DescenDANCE Party at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe, and Stitch's Masquerade Mashup on the Tomorrowland Stage. The Stitch show is one of this year's new additions.
Specialty food and event merchandise
A dedicated panel covers specialty food and drink, with the Headless Horseman Treat at Casey's Corner and the Fang-tastic Garlic Butter Burger at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe called out by name. A separate mention points to a Hatbox Ghost Pop at Sleepy Hollow. A QR code on the page opens the full list.
Party guests can also sit down for a meal starting at 4 p.m. at Be Our Guest Restaurant, The Beak and Barrel or The Plaza Restaurant, or book Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular Dessert Party. All of it is noted as subject to availability.
The merchandise panel sends guests to the Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. for event mementos including an adult crew fleece, and flags mobile checkout as a way to pay without waiting in line.
The trick-or-treat trails, by land
The map breaks the candy stops down land by land. Guests pick up a complimentary treat bag at the start of the trails, and the candy on offer includes M and M's, Snickers and Skittles.
- Main Street, U.S.A.: open until 8 p.m. only
- Adventureland: Sunshine Tree Terrace, Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, Tortuga Tavern
- Frontierland: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad
- Liberty Square: Diamond Horseshoe
- Fantasyland: Mickey's PhilharMagic, Princess Fairytale Hall, Enchanted Tales with Belle, the Fantasyland train station, Dumbo the Flying Elephant
- Tomorrowland: Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor and a dedicated Tomorrowland treat trail
An allergy-friendly option hosted by YumEarth is available at the Liberty Square Ticket Office and Merchant of Venus. The Main Street closing time is the detail worth internalizing: that trail shuts at 8 p.m., before the first parade even finishes.
The Buzz
- The map is the first hard confirmation of showtimes each year, and guests build entire party plans around it.
- A full Haunted Mansion treatment across the cover and interior matches the new Mansion characters on the welcome street.
- The added 7:35 p.m. Hocus Pocus show in October is a real capacity change, not a cosmetic one.
What this means for guests
The showtimes make the night's shape obvious. Two parades at 8:15 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. bracket the 10 p.m. fireworks, which means the second parade is the quieter one and the hours between 8:15 and 10 are the best window for attractions.
Trick-or-treating is the piece most often misjudged. The Main Street trail closes at 8 p.m., and the trails in the outer lands run late, so working from the front of the park backward wastes the early hour. Start with Main Street on the way in, then move outward.
