Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind adds three holiday songs at EPCOT this season
From November 25 through January 6, 2027, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT shuffles three holiday songs into the ride, from Andy Williams, Trans-Siberian Orchestra and The Waitresses. Outside that window the coaster keeps its usual six-song playlist.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, the indoor coaster in the World Discovery neighborhood at EPCOT, gets a holiday soundtrack from November 25 through January 6, 2027. Three seasonal songs are shuffled across rides, so the track can change from one ride to the next.

The three holiday tracks on Cosmic Rewind
The holiday mix pairs a crooner standard with a rock instrumental and a new wave single.
- Andy Williams. "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year," the 1963 holiday standard.
- Trans-Siberian Orchestra. "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24," the rock group's instrumental built on Carol of the Bells.
- The Waitresses. "Christmas Wrapping," the 1981 new wave holiday single.
- Shuffled each ride. Disney shuffles the three songs so that each ride can sound different.
Why Cosmic Rewind has a playlist at all
The ride's story turns Star-Lord's love of Earth music into the soundtrack for every launch.
- Wonders of Xandar. The queue is a pavilion where the Xandarian people, allies of the Guardians, show EPCOT guests their culture and technology.
- Star-Lord's taste. Star-Lord, the Guardians' leader and an Earthling who visited EPCOT as a kid, shares his love of rock music in return.
- One song per ride. When the coaster sets off to save the galaxy, the ride plays one song from its playlist.
Outside the holiday window, the playlist is these six songs:
- "September" by Earth, Wind and Fire
- "Disco Inferno" by The Trammps
- "Conga" by Gloria Estefan and Miami Sound Machine
- "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears for Fears
- "I Ran (So Far Away)" by A Flock of Seagulls
- "One Way or Another" by Blondie
Holiday songs play November 25 to January 6
The holiday soundtrack overlaps EPCOT's holiday festival but starts earlier and runs a week longer.
- Before the festival. The songs begin November 25, two days before the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays opens on November 27.
- After the festival. They continue to January 6, 2027, a week after the festival closes on December 30.
- Regular playlist returns. Outside the holiday window, the ride goes back to its six usual songs.
Our take. Each ride plays one of the three holiday songs, so anyone set on hearing a particular track should plan on more than one ride between November 25 and January 6.
