Walt Disney World has laid out its summer 2026 program, and the discount stack is the headline. Cool KIDS' SUMMER runs from May 26 through September 8, 2026, pairing refreshed attractions and limited-time family experiences with four separate ways to spend less on a trip.

What Cool KIDS' SUMMER covers

Cool KIDS' SUMMER is Disney's umbrella name for the season's additions rather than a single ticketed event. It bundles attraction refreshes, new limited-time experiences and family-focused activities across the four theme parks, timed to the stretch when school is out.

The largest single addition on the calendar is the debut of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Disney's Hollywood Studios, the reimagining of the Sunset Boulevard coaster. Disney also points to new elements folded into attractions guests already know, so returning visitors run into changes on rides they have done before.

A free water park day on check-in day

Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel between May 26 and September 8, 2026 get free admission to one Walt Disney World water park on their check-in day. That covers Disney's Typhoon Lagoon or Disney's Blizzard Beach, and it is aimed squarely at the arrival day that usually gets written off to travel and check-in lines.

A one-day water park ticket normally runs well over $70 with tax, so the offer has real value for families who arrive early enough to use it.

The 4-Day, 4-Park Magic ticket

The 4-Day, 4-Park Magic ticket covers all four theme parks at one park per day, with one admission per park. Pricing starts at $109 per day plus tax, or a total starting at $436 plus tax, for visits between May 26 and October 3, 2026. The ticket has to be used within seven days of first use.

The trade-off is the structure. There is no park hopping built in, and the four days have to be spread across four different parks, so it suits a first visit better than a repeat trip built around one favorite park.

The free dining plan offer

Disney is also offering a free dining plan with the purchase of a non-discounted 4-night, 4-day Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes a room at select Disney Resort hotels and tickets with the Park Hopper option. The offer applies to most arrival nights from June 28 through October 3, from October 19 through October 31, and from December 6 through December 21, 2026.

One caveat matters here: the booking deadline attached to this offer was April 30, 2026, so the window to reserve it has closed. Guests looking at late summer and fall travel now will be working from whatever room-only and package discounts Disney has released since.

Florida resident and Annual Passholder rates

Florida residents can save up to 35 percent and Annual Passholders up to 40 percent on rooms at select Disney Resorts Collection hotels for stays of four nights or longer in the same travel window. As always with percentage-off room offers, the deepest discounts land at the value and moderate resorts with the widest inventory, and the deluxe resorts release fewer discounted rooms.

What this means for families

The through line across all four offers is length of stay. The free water park day rewards arriving early, the dining plan required a four-night package, and the resident and Passholder rates require four nights or more. Guests planning a short trip get less out of this program than guests planning a week.

Offer terms, blackout dates and room availability change without much warning, so check current pricing on DisneyWorld.com before building a budget around any single one of these.
