The holiday set builds on Lilypad's Jams, the soundtrack Lilypad took over on September 25. Imagineers recorded it in Nashville, pairing reworked Toy Story songs with originals such as "Pizza Planet Promo" and "Spin It Back, Lilypad." This is that soundtrack's first holiday season.
Who DJ Lilypad is, and the ride she hosts
Lilypad is the newest toy in Toy Story Land, and Alien Swirling Saucers is where guests meet her.
- A Toy Story 5 character. Lilypad is the frog-shaped smart tablet from Toy Story 5, and she made her Toy Story Land debut in September.
- The ride. Alien Swirling Saucers opened with Toy Story Land in June 2018 and pulls toy rockets around a turntable behind alien-piloted saucers.
- Height requirement. Riders must be at least 32 inches tall.
- Music for non-riders. Disney's September announcement had Lilypad playing to guests around the ride as well as riders, with sing-alongs, puzzles and a drawing game between songs.
Saucers and the Muppets coaster both play holiday music from November 4
Two Walt Disney World coasters also get holiday soundtracks this season, one of them on the same dates.
- Muppets coaster overlay. Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets runs its Obligatory Holiday Overlay at Hollywood Studios from November 4 through January 6, with four holiday tracks by The Electric Mayhem.
- Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT. Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind plays one of three holiday songs, picked at random for each ride, from November 25 through January 6.
- EPCOT's holiday festival. The International Festival of the Holidays runs at EPCOT from November 27 through December 30.
Our take. A single Hollywood Studios day from November 4 covers both the Saucers playlist and the Muppets overlay. Saucers takes riders from 32 inches, lower than either coaster's minimum, so it is the holiday soundtrack small children can ride to. Cosmic Rewind's songs start later, on November 25, at EPCOT.
