What Disney announced
The two posts went out seconds apart on the Disney Parks account on X on the morning of August 7. Each carried a single product photo and the same availability line: "Available at Magic Kingdom Park during Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Limit 2 per person, per transaction with limited quantities available, while supplies last." Both named the same pickup point, the "Magic Kingdom Popcorn Carts near Cinderella's Castle."
Neither post listed a price, and neither said how long the buckets will stay in stock beyond the standard while-supplies-last wording. Disney's own Foodie Guide for the 2026 party covers the season's food and drink without prices and does not mention either bucket.
The Hatbox Ghost bucket
Disney titled the first one the "Haunted Mansion Hatbox Ghost Bucket," pulling from one of the most requested figures in the attraction's cast of characters. It is the Magic Kingdom counterpart to a run of Haunted Mansion novelty merchandise Disney has leaned on across recent Halloween seasons, and it lands on a party calendar that already carries Jack Skellington and Sally meet-and-greets.
The Headless Horseman bucket
The companion release is titled simply "The Headless Horseman Bucket." The Headless Horseman is a fixture of the party itself rather than of a year-round attraction: Disney's own party listing tells guests to "see the Headless Horseman stalk the streets" on event nights. The character also turns up in this year's party apparel, where Disney has a Headless Horseman design among the adult tees sold alongside the Not-So-Scary crewneck and a pair of glow-in-the-dark Mickey ears with a removable bat bow.
Getting one on a party night
Both buckets sit behind the party gate. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is separately ticketed, so a regular day ticket or an annual pass does not cover the event. Ticket holders can enter Magic Kingdom as early as 4 p.m., and the party itself starts at 7 p.m.

The buckets arrive on an evening that is already busy. Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade steps off at 8:15 p.m., with Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular handling fireworks and the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular running on the castle stage. Stitch hosts a dance party at the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland, villains appear around the park, and more than a dozen trick-or-treat stops hand out candy along the way.

These are event-exclusive items with a hard purchase limit, sold at a single cluster of carts, on nights that already sell out.
