The Disney Believe reveal now has a start time. Disney Parks will stream it at 4:30 p.m. Eastern on Wednesday, October 7, and the Disney Parks Blog says the show will cover the ship's homeport, its itineraries, its new venues and its entertainment. Those are the details cruise planners have been waiting on since Disney named the ship in March.

Key Details

What the October 7 stream will cover

Disney Cruise Line first put October 7 on the calendar in a post on X at the end of July, and we reported it then. That announcement gave a date and nothing else: no start time, no platforms, and no word on what the stream would contain.

The Disney Parks Blog filled in all three on September 28. The livestream starts at 4:30 p.m. Eastern, runs on the Disney Parks social channels, and is billed as "the official reveal" of the ship, with the homeport, itineraries, new venues and entertainment named as the subjects.

The homeport matters most for planning. Disney has not said where the Believe will sail from or what kind of voyages it will run, and those two answers decide who can realistically book it. For the earlier Wish-class ships, venue and entertainment announcements came with concept art, so the stream is also likely to be the first detailed look inside.

The 4:30 p.m. Eastern start is 1:30 p.m. on the West Coast. Disney has not said how long the show will run.

What Disney has already shown of the ship

The Believe is the fourth ship in the Wish class, following the Disney Wish, the Disney Treasure and the Disney Destiny. Its theme is belief itself, and when Disney introduced the ship in March it tied that theme to Encanto, Frozen, Snow White, Moana and The Little Mermaid.

At D23: The Ultimate Fan Event in August, Disney added the first specifics, which we covered in our D23 roundup. Moana and her friends will greet guests in the Grand Hall, Woody and Buzz Lightyear will decorate the stern, and Tinker Bell will sit on the bow.

Construction is under way at Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany. In September the shipyard completed and floated out the first of the Believe's three gigablocks, the midship section that will hold the Grand Hall, and Disney Cruise Line shared photos of the milestone.

Homeport and itineraries come on October 7; booking dates are still unannounced

If Disney delivers what the blog lists, October 7 is when the Believe goes from a theme and a few character placements to a ship with a home port, a set of sailings and named places to eat and be entertained. The post says nothing about when bookings open or when the maiden voyage sails, so those remain open questions until Disney addresses them. Anyone hoping to sail on the Believe in 2027 should watch the stream and then check DisneyCruise.com for booking details once they are posted.
