It gives wounded, ill and injured service members a stage to compete, and it is built as much around recovery as around results. A flag retreat in Town Square

The announcement carried into the parks. On August 6, Warrior Games competitor and U.S. Army veteran Tony Smith was honored at a flag retreat ceremony at Magic Kingdom, recognized for his service in front of guests gathered around Town Square on a rainy afternoon.

Disney's record with the military community
