Walt Disney World adds September 8 and 10 as Good to Go days for Annual Passholders

·

Walt Disney World has added Tuesday, September 8 and Thursday, September 10, 2026 to its Good to Go calendar, so Annual Passholders on all four pass tiers can enter any of the four theme parks without a park reservation on those days. The dates follow September 2 and 3 last week, and Disney says it will keep adding days through the month.

Walt Disney World adds September 8 and 10 as Good to Go days for Annual Passholders

Annual Passholders can walk into any of the four Walt Disney World theme parks without a park reservation on Tuesday, September 8 and Thursday, September 10, 2026. Disney added the two dates to its Good to Go calendar over the weekend, a week after September 2 and 3 got the same treatment, and it says more September dates are on the way.

What a Good to Go day changes

On an ordinary day, a Passholder needs a theme park reservation for the park they plan to visit, booked through My Disney Experience and limited by the number of holds that come with each pass. A Good to Go day removes that step. A Passholder whose pass is valid for the park that day can tap in at the gate with no reservation, at any hour the park is open.

Two things do not change. Blockout dates are a separate calendar, so a Good to Go day does not open a park to a pass that is blocked out there. And the dates are exactly that: dates. The reservation requirement returns on Wednesday, September 9, and again on Friday, unless Disney adds those days too.

All four pass tiers qualify

The two new dates apply across the Pixie Dust Pass, the Pirate Pass, the Sorcerer Pass and the Incredi-Pass. That matters most for the Pixie Dust Pass, the Florida-resident weekday pass that carries the fewest reservation holds, and for Pirate Pass holders, whose blockout calendar is the next tightest. A Tuesday and a Thursday in early September, after Central Florida schools are back in session, are the kind of quiet weekdays those passes are built around.

How September's calendar has filled in

Disney released September 2 and 3 first, then added September 8 and 10 on Monday, September 7. That is how the calendar has tended to fill this year: a couple of days at a time, announced with a day or two of notice, rather than a whole month at once. Passholders who want to plan around Good to Go days should check the Passholder calendar in My Disney Experience at the start of each week, because the dates have been landing close to the day itself.

The timing also lines up with the parks' slowest stretch of the year. The week after Labor Day is traditionally one of the lightest for attendance at Walt Disney World, and Magic Kingdom already has Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights on its calendar, which pulls some of the day crowd into the evening. Opening reservation-free days here costs Disney little and gives local Passholders a reason to come in.

The Buzz

Reservation-free days are the perk Passholders ask about most, and Disney has been handing them out in small batches instead of publishing a month at a time. Two weekdays in the post-Labor Day lull, announced the day before the first of them, sent a lot of locals checking whether their pass is blocked out and whether they can make a spontaneous park day work.

What to do on September 8 and 10

Check the blockout calendar for your pass tier first, since a Good to Go day does not override it. If the park is open to your pass, no reservation is needed: bring the pass, MagicBand or MagicMobile pass you normally tap in with. Early Entry remains a perk for guests of Disney resort hotels and other participating hotels, so an off-site Passholder's day starts at the posted opening time. Disney's next batch of Good to Go days has not been announced. The Passholder calendar in My Disney Experience is where they will appear.
