Disney's All-Star Music family suites sleep six for a value-resort price
Disney's All-Star Music Resort is the most budget-friendly way to put a large family under one Walt Disney World roof, with renovated family suites that sleep up to six. Each suite packs two pull-down beds, a separate bedroom, two bathrooms and a small kitchen into a value-category rate. Here is what the rooms, the price and the music-themed grounds actually get a big group.

Disney's All-Star Music Resort is the cheapest way to put a large family under one Walt Disney World roof. Its family suites sleep up to six, bundle two bathrooms and a small kitchen into a value-resort rate, and recently came through a full renovation. For a group that plans to spend its days in the parks, that combination is hard to beat.

Key Details
- Resort: Disney's All-Star Music Resort, a value-category hotel
- Area: Animal Kingdom resort area, roughly 15 minutes to every park
- Sister hotels: All-Star Movies and All-Star Sports within walking distance
- Family suites: Sleep up to six across two living areas
Family suites built for a group of six
The family suites turn a value-resort room into sleeping space for up to six guests across two separate areas.
- Two hidden beds. A queen pull-down bed folds out of both the sofa and the dining table, sleeping four in the living area alone.
- Separate bedroom. A private bedroom holds the main bed, with character artwork set above the headboards throughout the suite.
- Two full bathrooms. One pairs a tub and shower, the other a walk-in shower, each with its own vanity you can close off from the others.
- In-room kitchen. An apartment-size refrigerator and freezer, a microwave, a sink and a drip coffee maker come stocked with plates, cups and utensils.
- Recent renovation. A full refurbishment left the suites with hardwood floors, dark wood furniture and red accents, well clear of a dated value-resort look.
- Resort scale. All-Star Music has 1,704 standard rooms but only 215 family suites, the scarcer and quicker-to-sell of the two.
The layout asks for a little daily effort. Both pull-down beds come down at night and fold away each morning to free up room to move around, a fair trade for fitting six people without a deluxe-resort bill.

What a value room costs here
All-Star Music is the more affordable of the two Disney World resorts whose family suites sleep six.
- Standard rooms. Standard rooms have gone for under $150 a night, among the lowest rates anywhere on Disney property.
- Family suite rate. Family suites have run about $350 a night, closer to $400 over a busy weekend.
- No hotel points. Disney-owned resorts join no hotel loyalty program, so hotel rewards do not apply unless you look to the Marriott-tied Swan and Dolphin.
- Fixed-value cards. Points that redeem at a set cash rate, such as Capital One miles at one cent each, can offset a Disney hotel charge.
- Book direct. Reserving through Disney sidesteps thin third-party availability, and a discount found later can be applied to your existing reservation.

The other resort with suites this size is Disney's Art of Animation, which costs more. For a short stay spent mostly in the parks, All-Star Music covers the basics a large group needs at the lowest price on property.
A music theme from lobby to pool
The music theme carries through Melody Hall, the arcade and both pools without tipping into overdone.
- Melody Hall. The central building holds the lobby, Intermission Food Court, arcade and gift shop, its check-in desks trimmed with musical notes.
- Free arcade game. A free Guitar Hero game sits in the lobby, alongside concert photos, wall memorabilia and a giant headphones installation.
- Calypso Pool. The main pool is shaped like a guitar, with a Three Caballeros fountain, a kids' splash area and poolside movies on select nights.
- Piano Pool. A smaller second pool is built as a grand piano, black and white keys included, though neither pool has a slide or hot tub.
- Food court only. Dining runs through the Intermission Food Court, open 7 a.m. to 11 p.m., plus the Singing Spirits pool bar.

How to book a suite that sleeps six
Booking direct, with online check-in, is the simplest way to lock in a family suite.
- Reserve through Disney. Booking on Disney's own site gives the most reliable availability and lets you apply any discount that shows up later.
- Watch for discounts. Offers come and go, such as $20 off the nightly rate on stays of five nights or more.
- Online check-in. Disney's Direct-to-Room service texts you when the suite is ready, so you can head straight there without a front-desk stop.
- Accessible options. Ticking the accessibility box when searching dates surfaces suites with roll-in showers and grab bars.
Everyday perks come standard: bus service to the parks, the water parks and Disney Springs, plus jogging trails, a playground and on-site laundry.
Our take. If you are traveling five or six deep and plan to live in the parks, an All-Star Music family suite buys beds, bathrooms and a kitchen for far less than a deluxe room, and folding the beds away each morning is about the only catch.
