Every Place to Get DOLE Whip at Walt Disney World: All Four Parks, Both Water Parks and Nine Resort Locations

DOLE Whip has been on Walt Disney World menus since 1984, and it now turns up at more than 25 locations across three theme parks, both water parks, Disney Springs and five resort hotels. This is the full location list, including the alcoholic versions at Animal Kingdom and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and the limited-time peach flavors at Blizzard Beach.

DOLE Whip has been on Walt Disney World menus since 1984, and it has quietly spread far past the Adventureland window most guests associate it with. It now turns up at more than 25 locations across Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, both water parks, Disney Springs and five resort hotels, in flavors from lime to peach to watermelon, with and without rum. Here is the full map.

Magic Kingdom has five locations

Magic Kingdom carries the widest spread of any single park, and only one of the five is the obvious one.

Aloha Isle Refreshments

The Adventureland window that made the treat famous, and still the place to go for the plain version:

• DOLE Whip
• DOLE Whip and coconut swirl
• DOLE Whip Float, with DOLE pineapple juice and a choice of DOLE Whip, vanilla soft-serve or swirl
• Pineapple Upside-Down Cake, served with a choice of DOLE Whip, vanilla soft-serve or swirl

Sunshine Tree Terrace

Also in Adventureland, beside the Swiss Family Treehouse and under the Orange Bird, which is why the citrus flavors live here:

• DOLE Whip Orange, available with a vanilla soft-serve swirl
• DOLE Whip Strawberry
• I Lava You Float, with Fanta Strawberry, passion fruit flavor and DOLE Whip orange, topped with popping candy
• DOLE Whip Float, with a choice of flavor plus vanilla or chocolate soft-serve and a choice of beverage

Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen

The only table-service location on this list. The Enchanted Orange Dream blends DOLE Whip orange with vanilla soft-serve and comes with an orange candy rim, and it is one of the few ways to have a DOLE Whip sitting down in air conditioning.

Storybook Treats

In Fantasyland, where the soft-serve gets built into full desserts:

• Rapunzel Sundae: shortcake with DOLE Whip lemon and wild berry soft-serve, berry compote and sugar flowers
• Aurora Cone: DOLE Whip strawberry and blue soft-serve topped with white chocolate crispy pearls, in a sugar cone

Auntie Gravity's Galactic Goodies

Tomorrowland is where the lime flavor shows up, and it only appears here:

• Space Ranger Float: DOLE Whip lime and vanilla soft-serve swirl, Sprite, green apple pearls, sprinkles and a chocolate piece
• Cherry Limeade Float: DOLE Whip lime with Sprite, grenadine and a cherry

EPCOT has exactly one

Refreshment Outpost, on the World Showcase promenade between Germany and China, serves DOLE Whip in pineapple or cherry. That is the whole EPCOT list, which is surprising for the park most associated with food, and worth knowing before anyone walks the promenade looking for a second option.

This is the deepest menu on property and the only place with a wine option:

Near the Feathered Friends in Flight stage:

Five resort hotels serve it

Resort locations are open to guests staying on property and to anyone with a dining reservation at the resort. Disney's Polynesian Village Resort accounts for most of the list on its own.

Disney's Polynesian Village Resort

Pineapple Lanai, just outside the Ceremonial House, is the closest thing to a second Aloha Isle: DOLE Whip, vanilla soft-serve or swirl, a Pineapple Float, a version with Parrot Bay Coconut Rum, and a limited-time DOLE Whip Peach with peaches and streusel in a waffle cup.

Barefoot Pool Bar and Oasis Bar and Grill, by the docks, handle the frozen cocktails: a Frozen Margarita made with Corazon Blanco Tequila, DOLE Whip lime and chili-lime seasoning, and the Frosty Pineapple with Captain Morgan Private Stock Rum.

Kona Island keeps a Pineapple Cupcake with DOLE Whip pineapple-flavored cheesecake and pineapple buttercream. Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace and Grog Grotto pour the Spikey Pineapple, Cruzan Mango Rum blended with DOLE Whip. And Wailulu Bar and Grill, the resort's newest restaurant, serves a DOLE Whip Sundae with hibiscus meringue and macerated pineapple and berries. The name comes from the Hawaiian words wai, water, and lulu, calm, and the restaurant looks out over the Seven Seas Lagoon.

The other four resorts

• Disney's BoardWalk Inn: BoardWalk Joe's Marvelous Margaritas pours the Captain's Seaside Sensation, a DOLE Whip smoothie with Captain Morgan Original Spiced Rum.
• Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort: Centertown Market serves a straightforward DOLE Whip Cup.
• Disney's All-Star Movies Resort: Silver Screen Spirits Pool Bar has a DOLE Whip Smoothie, and it is the only value resort on the list.
• Disney's Old Key West Resort: Good's Food to Go swirls DOLE Whip key lime with vanilla soft-serve and tops it with graham cracker crumbs, which is the closest thing on property to a key lime pie in soft-serve form.

Swirls on the Water

On the bridge over the water at Disney Springs, and the most creative counter on this list:

• DOLE Whip in pineapple, orange or strawberry
• DOLE Whip Sampler: pineapple with coconut soft-serve and a pineapple wedge, strawberry with cotton candy soft-serve and white sprinkles, and orange with vanilla soft-serve and chocolate sauce
• Waffle Bowl Sundae: DOLE Whip orange with vanilla soft-serve, chocolate sauce and whipped topping
• Strawberry Cotton Candy Cone: DOLE Whip strawberry with blue cotton candy soft-serve, a white sprinkle rim and a red velvet cone

The sampler is the reason to make the walk. Three flavors in one order is not something any of the park locations offer.

Wine Bar George

Over in The Landing, DOLE Whip goes on the drinks list: a Frozen Old Fashioned made with DOLE Whip orange, and a Frozcato made with DOLE Whip. Neither is what most guests expect to find at a wine bar, which is part of the appeal.

Typhoon Lagoon has three locations

The water parks carry the widest flavor range on property, including several that appear nowhere else.

Snack Shack

• DOLE Whip Bathtub Sundae: pineapple, strawberry and orange together, and plant-based
• DOLE Whip soft-serve in a cone or cup: pineapple, orange, watermelon or vanilla soft-serve
• DOLE Whip Watermelon with chamoy and chili-lime spice

Watermelon is a water-park exclusive, and the chamoy version is the most unusual item on this entire list.

Leaning Palms

• DOLE Whip Pineapple Float, with DOLE pineapple juice
• DOLE Whip Orange Float, with Fanta Orange

Happy Landings Ice Cream

The Pineapple Upside-down Cone stacks DOLE Whip and vanilla soft-serve with caramel sauce, vanilla cake and caramelized pineapple, finished with a cherry and served under a white chocolate-dipped cone.

Blizzard Beach has three more

I.C. Expeditions serves DOLE Whip Strawberry and a Strawberry Shortcake built from vanilla cake, strawberry puree and a DOLE Whip strawberry and vanilla swirl, topped with whipped cream and a cherry. Disney notes it is the only DOLE Whip strawberry shortcake at Walt Disney World.

Lottawatta Lodge, the alpine chalet across from Cross Country Creek, has the limited-time peach items: DOLE Whip Peach on its own, and a Peach Streusel Cobbler Sundae with vanilla cake, peach filling and streusel.

Polar Patios, the private shaded decks, serve a Baked Alaska made with vanilla cake, vanilla ice cream, DOLE Whip, buttercream, meringue, strawberry, gold leaf and viola flowers. It is the most elaborate item on the list and the hardest to get, since it comes with a patio rental.

Making it at home

Disney has published a recipe for a Pineapple Upside-Down Cake topped with a frozen pineapple treat inspired by DOLE Whip, which is the closest official approximation for anyone not currently in Florida.

What this means for guests

Three things are worth acting on. The rarest flavors are not in the theme parks: watermelon, key lime, peach and the chamoy-and-chili-lime version all live at water parks or resorts, so a completist has to leave the parks to find them. The two water parks take turns going down for refurbishment, so confirm the operating calendar before building a day around either one.

Second, the alcoholic versions cluster at Animal Kingdom and Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, and Tamu Tamu Refreshments is the only place with a sangria float. Third, everything here is subject to change and availability, and the limited-time peach items in particular will rotate out. Aloha Isle is still the answer for the classic, but it is no longer the only answer for much else.
