The Diamond Horseshoe Takes Its First Bookings at 8 p.m. ET on September 29
Walt Disney World has posted the booking window for the Diamond Horseshoe's limited-time return, and it is an evening one: reservations open September 29, 2026 at 8 p.m. ET, ahead of the Liberty Square pop-up's October 4 opening. Disney lists the venue as a dining event serving small plates, mocktails and cocktails, with Disney Dining Plan meals not accepted.

The Diamond Horseshoe will start taking bookings on a Tuesday evening, not at the usual sunrise hour. Walt Disney World's listing for the Liberty Square venue now tells guests to check back on September 29, 2026 at 8 p.m. ET to book a dining reservation, five days before the limited-time pop-up begins serving on October 4.

An 8 p.m. Booking Window Is Not How Disney Dining Usually Works
Advance Dining Reservations at Walt Disney World open at 6 a.m. Eastern, 60 days ahead of a visit, and resort hotel guests can book their whole trip from day 60 of check-in. Anyone who has chased a hard table knows the routine: alarm set for before dawn, My Disney Experience already open. The Diamond Horseshoe is not following that pattern. Disney's page names a single date and a single evening hour, which points to a one-off release for a venue that is operating as a limited-time dining event rather than as a permanent restaurant.

What Disney has not said is how much of the calendar opens at once, or how far ahead the pop-up will take bookings. Until 8 p.m. on September 29 arrives, the only confirmed detail is the start time itself.

An Old West Music Hall Rebuilt as a Bar
Disney's own description of the reopened room is short: mosey inside this Old West music hall to relax with small plates, nonalcoholic specialty drinks and cocktails. The venue is listed as a dining event rather than a table-service restaurant, and the Disney Dining Plan will not cover meals there.
That framing is the interesting part. The Diamond Horseshoe has been the most restless dining room in Magic Kingdom, cycling through counter service, family-style platters, seasonal-only operation and stretches as an overflow room for neighboring Liberty Tree Tavern. Turning it into a drinks-forward saloon is a real change of identity for a park that served no alcohol at all until Be Our Guest Restaurant began pouring beer and wine in 2012, and where the bar list is still the shortest of the four Walt Disney World theme parks.
What Disney Has Already Published About the Menu
The food and drink lineup went out with Disney's menu announcement at the end of August, and it is built for sharing: six small plates including charcuterie, glazed sticky ribs, queso fundido with barbecue burnt ends, sweet golden corn fritters, a chipotle chicken tostada and a mini hot dog platter. The drink side runs four house sodas and lemonades, five cocktails plus a seasonal holiday pour, three wines and three drafts. Two scheduling notes came with it: the pop-up will not operate on Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party nights, and it will be available during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.
What to Have Ready Before 8 p.m. on September 29
Treat this as a two-date plan. Have My Disney Experience logged in and your party size and dates set before 8 p.m. Eastern on September 29, because a single saloon room with a brand new menu, opening on the Sunday after Magic Kingdom's October 1 anniversary, is the kind of booking that goes quickly. Then hold October 4 loosely: opening-week menus and hours at a limited-time venue are always subject to change, and Disney has not committed to an end date for the run.
