2026 EPCOT Food and Wine merchandise: chef ears, a churro tote, and a Chip and Dale cake bag

· · Updated

Disney has shown the 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival collection twice: a first look on X naming a chef-hat ear headband, a pocket tee, a sweatshirt and a cap, then a Walt Disney World video detailing six more pieces, including a Loungefly cake bag with Chip and Dale, a tote that rolls into a churro, and a mug lidded with a souffle. No prices, on-sale date or shop locations have been announced.

Disney has now shown the 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival merchandise collection twice. A first look on X on August 5 named a chef-hat ear headband with a working rolling pin, a pocket tee, a sweatshirt and a baseball cap, and teased three novelties without showing them. A video posted to Walt Disney World's Instagram account on August 20 filled that gap, walking through six pieces including the churro that rolls open into a tote, a mug lidded with a souffle, and a Loungefly bag built to look like a slice of cake. No prices and no on-sale date have been announced for any of it.

What Disney posted

The Disney Parks account on X published four photos of the collection on August 5 under the line "Uncorking a look at EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival merchandise," with a link back to the festival preview on Disney Parks Blog. That post is a reveal, not a shopping list. It carries no prices, no item numbers, and no word on when the pieces reach shelves.

The written detail sits in the linked Disney Parks Blog post, which walks the lineup item by item. Disney describes the collection as "popping with playful colors like blue, orange, yellow, and purple," covering "sweet apparel, bright accessories, kitchenware, and more."

Fifteen days later, Walt Disney World's own Instagram account posted the closer look: a video titled on screen as "6 things you should know about" the festival, "merch edition," which counts six pieces off one at a time with a caption explaining what inspired each. The post's own caption lists them as a Loungefly bag, a reusable tote with churro zip case, a souffle mug, an EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival food logo tee, a serving dish set, and an appetizer tray with acrylic glass.

The pieces Disney named first

Four items got a name and a description in Disney's August preview. Everything else in the collection was shown or hinted at without being itemized.

EPCOT International Food & Wine tee

A white shirt with the festival logo on the front pocket. Disney calls it "clean, bright, and easy to style," the kind of tee that works between marketplace stops or in a ride queue. It is the plainest thing in the collection, which is likely the point: the rest of the lineup is loud enough to need something to sit under. The Instagram video gives it a reason for being plain, with the caption "This shirt is inspired by what real chefs wear in the kitchen."

The 2026 logo sits on the tee's chest pocket, styled after a kitchen shirt.

EPCOT International Food & Wine ears

The headline accessory, and the one doing the most work. The ear headband is topped with a small chef hat, splashed with color, and carries Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse alongside a moveable rolling pin and a mini whisk mounted on the ears. Disney's line for it: these ears "will have you saying 'Yes, Chef!' in no time."

Food & Wine sweatshirt

A pullover layer pitched at the back half of the festival, when EPCOT evenings finally cool off. Disney frames it as the go-to for sipping, snacking, and walking World Showcase on a chilly day, which is a fair read of a festival that runs into late November.

EPCOT International Food & Wine baseball cap

Described by Disney as a festival staple with a foodie twist: stylish, colorful, lightweight. No print or embroidery detail beyond that has been published.

The novelties, now shown

The August 5 preview closed with three items Disney named but did not photograph individually: a churro that "magically transforms into a tote bag," a wine glass sized to the Food and Wine tray, and a mug topped with a sweet pastry lid. The Instagram video shows all three at work, and adds three more pieces the first reveal never mentioned.

A dessert bag with Chip and Dale on it

The video's first item is a crossbody bag built to look like a slice of cake, in cream and caramel with piped icing scallops across the front and the name Dale written in icing script. Chip and Dale appear as die-cut figures, one perched on the top zip and one riding the flap, which is cut in the shape of a birthday candle. The strap is navy blue, and the hardware clipping it to the bag is shaped like a fork. Disney's caption calls it a Loungefly bag, and the on-screen note reads: "This bag takes inspiration from the cakes and desserts of the festival."

The tote that rolls into a churro

The churro tease resolves into a reusable shopping tote in navy with orange handles and trim, printed all over with Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck in chef whites alongside repeated festival logo blocks. Attached to it is a zip case printed to look like a ridged churro, banded with orange gingham. The tote folds down and rolls into that case, so the whole thing travels as a churro rather than as a bag. The caption on that beat is blunt about the trick: "When rolled up, this bag looks like a churro!"

Rolled down, the reusable tote packs into a churro-shaped zip case.

A mug topped with a souffle

The pastry-lidded mug is pale blue ceramic, with a lid modeled on a baked dessert: a yellow ramekin rim with a raised berry topping, sitting on the mug like something pulled straight from the oven. One side carries the festival's 2026 logo, and the other has Mickey Mouse in chef's dress standing over an open cookbook under the arched phrase "baking magic every day." A row of sculpted blueberries runs around the lower band. The video credits a specific pavilion: "This mug is inspired by the souffles from the France Pavilion." It is held up in front of the France pavilion's Vins de Pays kiosk sign, then again by the fountain near Spaceship Earth.

Serving dishes shaped like the park's paper boats

A two-piece ceramic serving dish set, molded in the shape of the paper food boats the marketplaces serve in. One dish is white and printed with a repeating pattern of Mickey, Minnie and Donald holding plates of food. The other is navy, printed inside and out with baking tools: whisks, oven mitts, measuring cups, boxes of baking soda, with the festival logo set into the base. The pitch on screen is practical: "This serving dish set can fit your paper boats at the park and can be used at home." The narration adds that the dishes come in two colors this year.

An appetizer tray built around a drink

The wine glass Disney mentioned in August turns up here as a stemmed acrylic glass that drops into a cutout in a navy appetizer tray, printed in the same baking-tool pattern. A raised divider forms small compartments along one edge, and the tray is shown with the glass seated in its slot, leaving both hands free for food. The closing caption spells the design out: "The shape of this tray can fit different beverages at the park." The video ends on an "own your magic" card for Walt Disney World merchandise, with a question for viewers: "Which items are you taking home?"

What Disney has not said

Three gaps are worth naming, because they are the questions guests ask first, and neither reveal closed them. There are no prices attached to any item. There is no on-sale date, either for the park locations or for shopDisney, where the 2026 Food & Wine collection has no listings yet. And no artist or designer credit has been attached to the artwork, unlike some past festival collections. The Instagram video also names no shop or festival market for any of the six pieces, so there is nothing yet to plan a shopping stop around. Anything circulating with a dollar figure on it right now is not coming from Disney.

The festival the collection is built for

The 2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival runs August 27 to November 21, an 87-day run that starts before Labor Day and finishes the week of Thanksgiving. Disney has confirmed three returning marketplace items so far: Street Corn-style Dumplings at Gyozas of the Galaxy, a Grilled Bushberry-spiced Shrimp Skewer in Australia, and a Kirschwasser Torte in The Alps. Full menus and marketplace opening dates land later in the Foodie Guide, and some booths open in phases rather than all at once.

Emile's Fromage Montage returns, collecting passport stamps at cheese dishes across select marketplaces for a festival treat at the end. So does Remy's Ratatouille Hide & Squeak, the scavenger hunt that sends guests through World Showcase after a hiding Remy with a purchased map and sticker set. Eat to the Beat plays the America Gardens Theatre at the American Adventure Pavilion, with multiple shows most days, seating first come first served, and festival dining packages available for a guaranteed seat.

Two additions sit outside the marketplaces. Starting September 18, CommuniCore Hall gets an interactive exhibit called "Cheers to Cheese!" built around the history and trivia of cheese. And Disney PhotoPass adds a new Waiter Mickey Mouse Magic Shot across five World Showcase pavilions, Mexico, China, Italy, Japan, and France, alongside returning shots for the Giant Empanada, the Leaning Tower of Cheeza, the Swedish Chef, and Chef Figment.

What this means for guests planning a fall EPCOT day

Festival merchandise at EPCOT moves on its own clock: the ear headband is almost always the piece that sells through first, and Disney has given no restock guidance and no release date to plan around. Anyone with an EPCOT day in the first weeks of the festival should treat the ears as a day-one stop rather than a last-day souvenir, and should expect the shopDisney listings to appear closer to opening. Two of the novelties are worth knowing about before the shelf, too: the tote only reads as a churro once it is rolled up, and the appetizer tray only works as designed with a festival glass in the slot. Festival dates and details are on the official event page at DisneyWorld.com: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/epcot/epcot-international-food-and-wine-festival/
