What Disney's Nomad Lounge reservation notice says
The notice is a single line at the top of the lounge's page, and it gives two dates and nothing more.
- Park admission. Disney's page says valid park admission is required to visit the lounge.
- Park reservations. A theme park reservation may also be needed, depending on the guest's type of admission.
- Open questions. The notice does not say whether walk-up seating continues or whether the menu changes once reservations begin.
Small plates and drinks from around the world
Disney pitches Nomad Lounge as a stop for globally inspired small plates and a long drinks list.
- Small plates. The freshly prepared bites lean on bold flavors, aromatic spices and globally influenced comfort food meant to evoke travel.
- The bar. Nomad Lounge pours beer, wine, mixed drinks and spirits from around the globe.
- Without alcohol. Non-alcoholic cocktails, freshly ground coffee and loose leaf teas are also served.
- Changing menu. Disney notes that every menu item is subject to change without notice.
Eight cocktails in Disney's Nomad Lounge photos
Disney's photo set for the lounge stages each cocktail beside art supplies or travel keepsakes.
- Night Monkey. Served in a martini glass beside tubes of watercolor paint and brushes.
- Hightower Rita. An icy glass beside a pencil and a sketchbook open to a drawing of a triceratops.
- Jenn's Tattoo. A tall icy glass on a woven reed mat beside an ornate Polynesian-style candle holder.
- Lamu Libation. A tall glass with a pineapple wedge, next to a sketch of an African village square.
- Leaping Lizard. Garnished with a pineapple wedge skewered between two blueberries.
- Snow Leopard Salvation. Garnished with mint leaves and a lime slice, beside a sketchbook showing a mythological scene.
The set also shows the Spice Trader, garnished with a mint leaf and a curl of lemon peel beside a watercolor of an Asian forest, and the Tempting Tigress, finished with a slice of lemon peel on a wooden table.
Book Nomad Lounge from October 28, then add a travel tag
Once seated, guests can add their own travel answers to the lounge's decor.
- Question banners. Festive banners in the center of the lounge each pose a different question about traveling the world.
- Write a tag. Cast Members hand out decorative tags so guests can jot down their answers.
- Tag chandelier. The answers are later hung on a tag chandelier suspended above the bar.
- Tiffins next door. Tiffins Restaurant celebrates the globetrotting Imagineers and animal experts who developed and built the park.
Our take. For a seat in the first weeks of November, set a reminder for October 28 and book when the window opens, because Disney has not said how much room, if any, walk-ups will keep.
