626 Day 2026: Global Stitch Pop-Ups and a Galaxy of New Merch

Disney is celebrating 626 Day — June 26 — with Stitch pop-up experiences spanning Newport Beach, Shanghai, Tokyo, Taiwan, London and Lisbon, plus a sprawling wave of new merchandise from LEGO, Funko, Pandora, Citizen, Topps and more. A new Stitch and Angel music video also lands on Disney+.

The countdown to 626 Day is officially on. Every June 26, Disney fans celebrate Stitch — also known as Experiment 626 — and for 2026 the party is starting early with worldwide pop-up events and a galaxy of new products built around everyone's favorite mischievous blue alien.

Stitch Pop-Ups Take Over the Globe

No matter where fans are in the universe, there is a way to mark 626 Day in person. Disney is staging Stitch-themed pop-ups across six cities, each with its own local flavor.

Newport Beach, California

On Friday, June 26 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m., the Macy's Lawn at Fashion Island in Newport Beach hosts a free celebration featuring complimentary shave ice from Hula Girls, all-new Stitch products from fan-favorite brands, and Polaroid photo moments to share with your 'ohana.

Shanghai, China

From June 26 to July 19, a Stitch-and-Scrump-inspired pop-up takes over Zhang Yuan in Shanghai with exclusive merchandise, photo-worthy retail moments, and themed food debuting for the first time — including gelato and macarons.

Tokyo, Japan

Tokyo fans can experience the "Disney Stitch SUMMER COLLECTION" at SHIBUYA109, the city's iconic youth-fashion landmark, from June 26 to July 12. The event spotlights Japan-inspired Y2K gyaru-style merchandise across eight brands, in-mall decorations, and a Japanese-language version of "Glitter Glide" playing throughout the venue.

Taiwan

A Stitch-inspired pop-up series launches across three major Taiwanese cities beginning June 26. Drawing on Taiwan's vibrant night-market culture, the activations pair immersive experiences with collectible merchandise designed to keep 626 Day going all summer long.

London & Lisbon

In Soho, London, Disney YuYus arrive with a pastel pop-up boutique and an exclusive preview event running June 26-28; free tickets (bookable at DisneyTickets.co.uk) let collectors shop the new collections early. Over in Lisbon, Portugal, Disney and Procter & Gamble's Oral-B bring the "Ohana Brushing Club" to FNAC from June 26-28 — a family-focused activation blending entertainment and education around Stitch's electric toothbrush, with photo ops, giftings, and creative kids' activities.
