Disney Dreamlight Valley's 'A Hero's Journey' Update Adds a Hercules Realm, Godly Glamor Star Path, and Decoration Presets

Disney Dreamlight Valley's free A Hero's Journey update is live on all platforms, introducing a new Hercules Realm with Phil's training island, the Olympus-themed Godly Glamor Star Path, a Hercules-inspired Premium Shop refresh, and a new Decoration Presets tool. Two limited-time events, Dreamlight Parks Fest and Picture Pursuit, round out the drop.

Gameloft has rolled out A Hero's Journey, the latest free update for Disney Dreamlight Valley, and it is now live across all platforms. The update introduces a brand-new Hercules Realm, a god-themed Godly Glamor Star Path, a Hercules-inspired refresh of the Premium Shop, a long-requested Decoration Presets system, and two limited-time Valley events.

A New Hercules Realm Anchors the Update

The centerpiece of A Hero's Journey is a new realm built around Disney's Hercules. Players unlock the Hercules Realm and arrive at Phil's training island, where it quickly becomes clear that something has gone wrong: Dark Thorns have begun sprouting and a mysterious fog has rolled across the woods. With Hercules himself missing after venturing deeper into the forest, the player is tasked with following his trail to discover what happened to the restless gods of Olympus.

Training, Trials, and Earning the Gods' Favor

Before chasing Hercules into the fog, players must prove themselves through special training challenges set up by Phil. These take the form of obstacle courses where players clear Dark Thorns, activate Moonlight Beacons, and collect rewards along the way. As the quest progresses, new abilities and divine tools unlock, opening the path through shadowed forests, perilous cliffs, and an ancient temple. Players earn the favor of different gods across the troubled terrain and ultimately solve the mystery of who threw the realm into chaos before guiding both Hercules and Phil back to the Valley.

The Godly Glamor Star Path

Running alongside the update is the Godly Glamor Star Path, a themed reward track where, as the game puts it, "myths meet elegance." Progressing through the track earns radiant outfits, divine-inspired furniture, and mythical companions, with everything from glowing celestial designs to majestic decor meant to bring a touch of Olympus to the Valley.

Standout rewards on the path include the Mythical Cloud Glider, a Pink Baby Pegasus companion, Hercules' Divine Glow Dream Style, and the Olympian Cloud Mansion House Style.

A Heroic Premium Shop Refresh

The Premium Shop receives a heroic makeover stocked with items inspired by the world of Hercules and the gods. Highlights include the Gilded Agora Building Kit, which features the Grecian Villa House Style and the ability to summon the "good-good-good" puppy Cerberus companion.

Beyond the Greek-mythology theme, the shop also adds the new Cozy Companion Rajah Bundle, built around Rajah, Jasmine's loyal tiger. The bundle brings unique interactions with Aladdin and Jasmine, Photo Mode poses, an exclusive friendship reward, and a Tiger Cub companion. Additional shop highlights include a new Dream Style for Ariel, Moana's parade float, and new mount accessories.

Decoration Presets Streamline Valley Building

One of the most practical additions in A Hero's Journey is Decoration Presets, a new system designed to make redecorating far easier. Working alongside the existing Group Mode, the feature lets players select a section of their Valley and save it as a Preset, then remove, copy, and replace fully decorated areas at will. If a player does not own enough of an item in a saved Preset, a Mirage placeholder appears so the missing piece can be crafted or purchased and placed instantly.

Olaf's Grand Exhibition Expands

Olaf's Grand Exhibition grows with two new rooms in this update: the Forest of Valor and the Glade of Trust. The additions give players more space to continue building their collection and to showcase favorite memories and achievements from their Valley journey.

Two Limited-Time Valley Events

The update is paired with two time-limited events for players to dive into:

• Dreamlight Parks Fest (June 10 – June 30): The fan-favorite festival returns, with buttons to collect throughout the Valley that unlock both returning favorites and brand-new rewards.
• Picture Pursuit Event (July 15 – July 28): A new photographic adventure in which players complete daily quests, hunt down mysterious motifs, and capture them in photos to unlock exclusive rewards, including a new Photo Mode frame.
