Star Wars Popcorn Buckets, Bantha Sippers and Lightsaber Swizzle Sticks Land at Disneyland for May the 4th
Disneyland is celebrating Star Wars Day with a new wave of collectible popcorn buckets, sippers, mugs and novelties launching April 28 and May 4. Highlights include a light-up Salvaged Protocol Droid bucket, a sound-equipped Bantha Sipper, rechargeable lightsaber swizzle sticks and Jabba's Sail Barge bucket.

The march to May the 4th is officially on at Disneyland Resort, and this year's Star Wars Day novelty drop may be the most ambitious yet. Beginning April 28, a fresh wave of collectible popcorn buckets, sippers, mugs and swizzle sticks will start landing across Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and select locations throughout Disneyland park, with one showstopper holding out for May 4 itself.
From light-up droids to a Tatooine sail barge, the lineup taps directly into the corners of the saga that Galaxy's Edge fans love most. Disney's Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite, the sold-out separately ticketed party returning this season, will also carry many of these items at additional locations inside the park.

Item-by-Item Breakdown

Salvaged Protocol Droid Bucket — A weathered, well-traveled protocol droid with a built-in light-up gimmick. Look for it starting April 28 at the Popcorn Cart near Star Trader, Galactic Grill (including the Seasonal Novelty Release via Mobile Order), Alien Pizza Planet, Kat Saka's Kettle and the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge beverage carts. It will also appear during Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite.

Bantha Sipper — First unveiled at Destination D23, this sipper recreates the woolly Tatooine beast right down to its spiraling horns and even includes built-in sound effects. Available April 28 at Milk Stand, Galactic Grill, Alien Pizza Planet and the Tomorrowland Fruit Cart.
Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader Lightsaber Swizzle Sticks — Rechargeable, glowing swizzle sticks designed to be submerged into sodas and slushies. Pick green for Luke Skywalker or red for Darth Vader. Available April 28 at Galactic Grill, Ronto Roasters, Milk Stand and Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. During Star Wars Nite they'll also appear at Harbour Galley, Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree and Stage Door Cafe.

DJ R-3X Mug — An intricately sculpted ceramic mug inspired by the reprogrammed RX-Series pilot droid who now spins tracks at Oga's Cantina. This one is a Cantina exclusive starting April 28.
Jabba's Sail Barge Bucket — The lineup's centerpiece launches on Star Wars Day itself. Modeled on Khetanna, the sail barge from Return of the Jedi, the bucket includes light-up elements and hidden character details. Find it May 4 at the Popcorn Cart near Star Trader, Galactic Grill's Seasonal Novelty Release via Mobile Order (May 4, 5 and 6 only), Alien Pizza Planet, Kat Saka's Kettle and Galaxy's Edge beverage carts.
Returning Star Wars Buckets, Sippers and Tumblers
If you can't grab everything on day one, several recent releases are still floating around Galaxy's Edge and beyond, giving collectors more chances to round out a display shelf:
- The Grinning Loth-cat with Souvenir Mug — Oga's Cantina
- Yub Nub with Souvenir Endor Mug — Oga's Cantina
- Yoda Stainless Steel Tumbler — Galactic Grill, The Coffee House at Disneyland Hotel, GCH Craftsman Grill at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
- Tauntaun Bucket — Kat Saka's Kettle, Popcorn near Star Trader, Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge Beverage Carts

What This Means for Disney Fans
Once you've grabbed the goods, the obvious next stop is the food itself. Disney is steering visitors back toward Galaxy's Edge classics like the Pink and Blue Milk at the Milk Stand, the Ronto Wrap (also available plant-based) at Ronto Roasters and the fan-favorite Cold Brew Black Caf at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo.

Disney has also confirmed that more Star Wars items will eventually make their way to Walt Disney World Resort, with additional reveals tied to The Mandalorian and Grogu hitting theaters May 22. For Disneyland fans, though, the message is clear: arrive early on April 28, plan a Mobile Order strategy for Galactic Grill, and save room on the shelf for that Sail Barge on May the 4th.
