Disney Destiny Dining Deep Dive: Pride Lands, De Vil's, The Sanctum, and Edna A La Mode Sweets

Disney Cruise Line has revealed the full food and beverage lineup for four brand-new venues aboard the Disney Destiny, the fleet's heroes-and-villains-themed ship debuting in November. Highlights include the first-of-its-kind Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King dining experience featuring live performers and African-inspired cuisine, the wickedly glamorous De Vil's Piano Lounge, a Doctor Strange-inspired cocktail parlor called The Sanctum, and The Incredibles-themed Edna A La Mode Sweets confectionary.

The Disney Destiny will debut four entirely new food and beverage venues when it launches its inaugural season, each themed to a beloved Disney or Marvel property. Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King anchors the rotational dining lineup with live African music and continent-spanning cuisine. On the cocktail and sweets side, De Vil's Piano Lounge, The Sanctum, and Edna À La Mode Sweets round out an unusually ambitious beverage and dessert program for a cruise ship.

Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King

Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King is Disney Cruise Line's first dining experience built around The Lion King, and the cruise line describes it as “first-of-its-kind.” As families dine, a live ensemble of performers retells Simba's journey from cub to king through soulful narration, vocals, and authentic African instruments. Charismatic storytellers Mwongozo and Shaha anchor the show, joined by an interpretive dancer and a trio of live musicians specializing in traditional African instruments.

The menu balances African culinary traditions with accessible family fare, incorporating authentic spice blends, regional sauces, and customary grains. Five-night sailings will feature a second themed menu for guests with a second seating at the restaurant.

De Vil's Piano Lounge

De Vil's is the Disney Destiny's adult cocktail lounge, designed around the glamour and menace of Cruella de Vil. The space features Hollywood Regency architecture, a signature spotted piano, and an avant-garde cocktail menu drawing on characters and iconography from both the animated and live-action 101 Dalmatians films. An interactive live performance element invites guests to participate in musical mischief at the piano bar.

The Sanctum is Disney Cruise Line's first lounge inspired by Marvel Studios' Doctor Strange, modeled after the New York Sanctum from the film. Design details include sorcerers' Rune Shield symbols, the Cloak of Levitation, spell books from the library of Kamar-Taj, and the show-stopping Circle of the Cosmos—an inverted glass installation that doubles as a cocktail presentation vessel. The central entertainment parlor hosts activities throughout the voyage and offers tableside beverage experiences.

Inspired by the “Auntie Edna” short film, the lab's sewing equipment is reimagined as sweet-making machinery, complete with a sculpture of Jack-Jack and Edna working on cookies. The front window showcases costume models of suits for Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl, while Rocky the raccoon makes a cameo near a garbage can.
