Disney Announces 2026 Military Discount Tickets for Parks and Cruise Line — Plus Veterans Day Highlights

Disney revealed 2026 military ticket discounts for Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, and Disney Cruise Line on Veterans Day, including a commemorative Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket offering all four WDW parks for $499, and a $250 onboard credit for military sailors on the Disney Wish and Disney Dream. In honor of Veterans Day, Disney announced new 2026 military discount tickets for Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, and Disney Cruise Line, including a commemorative Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket offering all four Walt Disney World theme parks throughout the year for $499 per person. The announcement came alongside highlights of Disney's November 2025 Veterans Day activities — from Flag Retreat ceremonies to a patriotic Sam Eagle social media tribute — and updates on Disney's expanded nonprofit support, including a $2.5 million donation to Blue Star Families and a $245,000 investment in Student Veterans of America's AI career tool.

2026 Walt Disney World Military Ticket Offers

To celebrate America's 250th anniversary, Walt Disney World introduced the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket — a commemorative pass available to eligible retired and active U.S. military personnel and their families for $499 per person plus tax. The ticket grants access to all four Walt Disney World theme parks throughout 2026, valid January 1 through December 18, 2026, with blockout dates of March 29–April 11, 2026 and November 22–28, 2026. Advance theme park reservations are required.

The existing Disney Military Salute Ticket series also continues for 2026. Eligible active and retired U.S. military personnel can purchase a 6-Day Park Hopper for $449 plus tax (approximately $75 per day). Specially priced 4-Day and 5-Day Park Hopper options are also available. Tickets are available at local participating military base ticket offices.

Disneyland Resort 2026 Military Salute Ticket Pricing

Disneyland Resort is also saluting active and retired U.S. military personnel with the 2026 Military Salute Ticket Offer. Eligible service members can visit both Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park with discounted Park Hopper tickets valid January 1–December 31, 2026, available for purchase at participating military base ticket offices and via GOVX.com:

Additionally, for the first time, a 1-Day, 1-Park Disneyland Resort Military Adult Ticket is available at $104, with a child ticket (ages 3–9) at $98 — available via GOVX.com beginning November 18, 2025, with no blockout dates and valid through December 30, 2027.

Disney Cruise Line: $250 Onboard Credit for Military Families

U.S. military service members and retired veterans sailing in 2026 from Florida aboard the Disney Wish or Disney Dream can receive a $250 onboard credit per stateroom. Disney Cruise Line is also offering special military rates on select sailings. Full details are available at disneycruise.com.

Sam Eagle's Veterans Day Salute

In a lighter moment for Veterans Day, Sam Eagle — the patriotic Muppet — made his annual social media appearance to salute those who have served in the U.S. military, complete with his signature seriousness and a feathered flourish.

Expanded Nonprofit Support for Veterans and Military Families

Beyond tickets and experiences, Disney deepened its investment in organizations serving the veteran community:

Blue Star Families — $2.5 Million Donation

Disney expanded its long-standing partnership with Blue Star Families through a $2.5 million donation to strengthen military families across the country. Disney and Blue Star Families will create unique events including the 25th "Blue Star Books" celebration — bringing military families together through reading and storytelling. In 2024, Disney VoluntEARS also worked with Blue Star Families to pilot a "Welcome Kit" program for military families during permanent change of station (PCS) moves.

Fisher House Orlando

On November 3, Disney VoluntEARS and SALUTE members from Walt Disney World brought holiday cheer to the Orlando Fisher House, continuing an annual tradition of decorating and supporting this "home away from home" for military and veteran families during challenging medical stays.

Student Veterans of America — $245,000 for AI Career Tool

Disney contributed $245,000 to help Student Veterans of America (SVA) bring an innovative AI career mentor resource to life for student veterans across 1,600 colleges and universities nationwide. This builds on Disney's 2023 commitment as founding sponsor of the SVA Career Center ($1 million donation) and continued annual support for the SVA National Conference.

USO Care Kits

On November 5, Disneyland Resort VoluntEARS worked with the USO to assemble 2,000 care kits for deployed U.S. military service members — part of Disney's ongoing effort to send comfort and gratitude to active-duty personnel stationed around the world.

Veterans Day Flag Retreats at Magic Kingdom and Disneyland

At Magic Kingdom, Disney recognized four cast member veterans as "Veterans of the Year" — selected by the Disney SALUTE veteran employee resource group to represent all Florida-based Disney employees who have served. Following the Flag Retreat ceremony, these honorees walked a procession along Main Street U.S.A. to guest and cast applause.

At Disneyland park in Anaheim, 150–200 cast member veterans participated in an annual procession down Main Street U.S.A., culminating in a special Veterans Day Flag Retreat Ceremony in Town Square. These ceremonies take place daily at both parks, with one guest selected each day as "U.S. Armed Forces Representative of the Day" at Magic Kingdom's sunset ceremony.

Military-Inspired Merchandise

Disney released its third collection of military-inspired merchandise, now at select locations at Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort while supplies last. The 2025 collection includes five items: a t-shirt, zip-up hoodie, hat, mug, and — for the first time — a Disney pin. Each piece features the "Mickeyflage" pattern: a specially designed camouflage incorporating hidden Mickeys throughout.
