SWTOR May 2026 Events Calendar: Three-Week Double XP, Pirate Incursion on Dantooine, and Bounty Contract Week
Star Wars: The Old Republic's May 2026 schedule packs three concurrent events — a three-week Double XP push (May 1–22), the returning Pirate Incursion on Dantooine (May 12–19) with the Ugnaught Companion as a featured reward, and Bounty Contract Week (May 26 – June 2) anchored by the BH-7X Custom Hunter Mount.

Star Wars: The Old Republic's May 2026 calendar is stacked: a three-week Double XP Event, the rotating-back Pirate Incursion on Dantooine, and a Bounty Contract Week running into early June — three concurrent events designed to give players reasons to log in throughout the month.
SWTOR May 2026 Event Calendar
- Double XP: May 1 – May 22, 12:00 PM GMT
- Pirate Incursion: May 12 – May 19, 12:00 PM GMT (Level 20+)
- Bounty Contract Week: May 26 – June 2, 12:00 PM GMT (Level 15+)
Double XP Event — May 1 to May 22
The headline of the month is the longest Double XP Event SWTOR has run in recent memory: a full three weeks, no level requirement, no opt-in needed. Combined with the May the 4th Collections Unlock sale and the Vectron Phantom RC2 subscriber reward, this is the highest-leverage window of 2026 to level alts, push storyline content, or finish your Combat Style grind.
Pirate Incursion — Dantooine Returns May 12
The remote planet Dantooine has been thrust back into the center of escalating hostilities between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Spurred on in secret by covert Imperial forces, the Nova Blades pirates are once again raiding settlements — and the Republic and Empire are calling for capable warriors to push them back.
Pirate Incursion Featured Rewards
- Nova Blade and Dantooine Homesteader Armor Sets
- Ugnaught Companion
- Walker Mount
- Kath Hound Mount
- Kath Hound Mini-pet
- Dantooine-inspired Stronghold Decorations
- …and more
The Ugnaught Companion is the standout — Ugnaughts are a notably underrepresented species in SWTOR's companion roster, and this is one of the few opportunities all year to unlock one. Veteran players hunting a Stronghold-decoration completion will also want to prioritize the Dantooine-themed pieces.
Bounty Contract Week — May 26 Through June 2
Bounty Contract Week closes out the month with the Bounty Brokers Association opening contracts to all comers — both seasoned hunters and rookies looking to prove themselves. The mechanic is straightforward but punchy: each day, sign up for one standard Henchman contract and one high-profile Kingpin contract, with each potentially sending you to a different planet.
Five standard contracts unlock the daily Kingpin missions — a deliberate gating mechanic designed to keep players engaged across multiple in-game days rather than burning the event in one session.
Bounty Contract Week Featured Rewards
- Reputation with the Bounty Brokers Association
- Bounty Tracker's Armor Set and Contract Hunter's Armor Set
- Assassin's Bowcaster and Elite Tracker's Bowcaster weapons
- Lobelot, Swamp Kell Drake, and Drink Server Probe Mini-pets
- BH-7X Custom Hunter Mount
- …and more
The BH-7X Custom Hunter Mount is the headline cosmetic — a Mandalorian-coded design that pairs nicely with the May the 4th Vectron Phantom RC2 if you're building a hunter-themed character.
How the Three Events Stack
These three events are designed to overlap intentionally:
- May 1–11: Double XP only — the optimal pure-leveling window before any event content competes for your attention.
- May 12–19: Double XP + Pirate Incursion — the densest week, with leveling, alt grinding, and incursion rewards all live simultaneously.
- May 20–22: Final Double XP push, plus May the 4th promotion ending May 22.
- May 26 – June 2: Bounty Contract Week — a slower-paced daily-login event after the May the 4th rush ends.
What This Means for May 2026
Between the May the 4th promotion, the three-week Double XP run, and three rotating events, May 2026 is the heaviest live-content month SWTOR has scheduled in recent memory. For active subscribers it's the ideal alt-pushing month; for returning players, the Pirate Incursion on Dantooine is one of the more forgiving entry points back into endgame-adjacent content. Mark May 12 on your calendar — that's when the calendar gets dense.
