Star Wars "Most Wanted" Drops First The Mandalorian and Grogu Merch Wave

Jon Favreau took the stage at New York Toy Fair 2026 to launch Star Wars: "Most Wanted," a year-long global campaign tied to The Mandalorian and Grogu. The reveal brought the first wave of movie-inspired toys, collectibles, and books from Funko, Hasbro, LEGO, Mattel, and more.

The hunt is officially on. Director Jon Favreau pulled back the curtain on Star Wars: "Most Wanted," a brand-new year-long global campaign built around The Mandalorian and Grogu, at New York Toy Fair 2026. The reveal ushered in the very first wave of film-inspired toys, apparel, collectibles, and accessories — and there is a lot to unpack.

Taking the stage in New York City, Favreau reflected on Star Wars' singular relationship with toys, recalling the infamous Kenner IOU vouchers that parents scrambled to gift kids the Christmas after A New Hope lit up pop culture in 1977. He also teased that eagle-eyed fans might spot deep-cut nods to vintage toys hidden inside this summer's film.

Favreau also dropped a small story morsel for fans hungry for film details. Grogu, he teased, has "leveled up a bit" thanks to his earlier training with Luke Skywalker, and is now stepping into the role of an apprentice Mandalorian alongside his adoptive father.
