The Amazing Guardians lineup brings together your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man (voiced by Josh Keaton), the up-and-coming Ms. Marvel Kamala Khan (voiced by Dalia Rooni), profit-seeking space pirate Star-Lord (voiced by Scott Porter), and interdimensional gadget whiz Peni Parker (voiced by Risa Mei). Peni Parker and SP//dr Enter the Ring
A Japanese-American student and eccentric young scientist, Peni Parker pilots SP//dr, a powerful mech suit built by her father, and fights as the spider hero of a parallel universe. She first captured mainstream attention in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and has been a fan-favorite ever since. In MARVEL Tokon, her kit emphasizes gadgets and improvisation, and she occasionally slips into Japanese during matches—a touch that translates differently across language voice-overs.
Meet the Promoter and the Automatic Team Naming
Xirena Awhina, a.k.a. the Promoter (voiced by Sabrina Fest), is an Elder of the Universe who travels the galaxy organizing entertainment on a supernova scale. She invites Marvel's heroes and villains to a tournament that will decide Earth's fate—and the question of whether she's acting alone looms large. Elders of the Universe like the Collector and the Grandmaster have long been Marvel cosmic staples, so the Promoter slots neatly into that lineage.
A new Automatic Team Name Generation feature also arrives in the latest build, spitting out lore-referencing team names for any four-character combo, complete with ring announcer voiceover.
