Marvel Snap X-Men: Origins of Apocalypse Launches New "Objective" Keyword, En Sabah Nur Season Pass
Marvel Snap's X-Men: Origins of Apocalypse season introduces the Objective keyword, lands En Sabah Nur as the Premium Season Pass card with Isca the Unbeaten on Super Premium, brings back Team Clash and High Voltage: Overdrive, and debuts Dardo Studios and Junggeun Yoon art albums.

Mount up — En Sabah Nur has arrived in Marvel Snap, and he's brought a brand-new keyword with him. The X-Men: Origins of Apocalypse season introduces Objective, a mechanic that gives cards in-match quests to complete for powerful payoffs, while also marking the return of Team Clash and High Voltage: Overdrive.
Web Shop Bonus
Buying the Premium or Super Premium Season Pass directly through shop.marvelsnap.com unlocks a Series 5 SNAP Pack and 3 Metallic Gold Borders. As usual with web shop bonuses, upgrading from Premium to Super Premium inside the game client will not trigger the reward — the purchase has to be made on the web shop directly.
New Keyword: Objective
How Objective Works
- Objective cards display a quest you track during the match
- Progress can be checked while the card is in hand or in play
- If the Objective card is in play and all other effects resolve, the game checks for completion
- Completing the Objective triggers its reward once per game
The design is built around bluff potential and big decisions. Play an Objective card early to use its base stats as a placeholder; hold it to spring the payoff as a late-game swing; or even play it before you've completed the requirement just to fake your opponent out. Jules Robins, Principal Game Designer, joined ItsGuestGaming and KMBest on a Community Spotlight video to dig into the design space — worth a watch if you want the design philosophy in detail.
Season Pass: En Sabah Nur and Isca the Unbeaten
The headline card is En Sabah Nur: Objective: Have a full front row at each location ➡️ Transform into Apocalypse, Celestials' Chosen. The Apocalypse form runs On Reveal: Swap the lowest-Power card in your front row at any location with a card from your deck. Filling a front row at every location isn't easy, but the payoff is one of the strongest stat lines available this season.
Super Premium Pass buyers also get Isca the Unbeaten: End of Turn: If you're losing this location, double this card's Power. Paired with En Sabah Nur, Isca gives the pass track a genuine two-card package rather than a primary card and a throwaway skill.
New Series 5 Characters and Objectives
The new character pool leans all the way into the Objective keyword. Payoffs include "Have 6 different Powers among your other cards," "Play 5 total Cost of created cards," "Have 3 cards that are 4-Cost or higher in play," and "Have 3 cards with no abilities in play." There's also a Rama-Tut payoff ("Use 3 On Reveals from cards released before Rama-Tut's time") that rewards cube-aware deckbuilders.
Twitch Drops and Golden Gauntlet
Twitch Drops run March 3–6, with rewards at 2 hours (Mystery Variant), 4 hours (Premium Mystery Border) and 6 hours (Premium Mystery Variant). Link your account at twitch.marvelsnap.com first. New Locations: Pyramid of Rama-Tut and Chronosphere Sphinx
- Pyramid of Rama-Tut: End of Turn: Add a 3-Power Rock to hand if you have none there.
- Chronosphere Sphinx: Copy the highest-Cost card in your deck into your hand.

What This Means for Marvel Snap Players
Origins of Apocalypse is one of Marvel Snap's most mechanically ambitious seasons to date. The Objective keyword is the story — it's the first major new mechanic in a while, and it opens deckbuilding directions (timing trades, bluffs, in-match tech answers) that the current meta hasn't had to plan for. En Sabah Nur's Objective is genuinely hard to complete, so expect a week or two of experimentation before the right shell locks in. And keep an eye out for Deadpool — the patch notes end with "I think something's afoot."
