March 18's New Marvel Comics: Sentry Returns and Carnage Meets Torment
The Sentry and the Void return in a new #1 by Paul Jenkins and Christian Rosado, while Carnage faces Torment in 'Amazing Spider-Man' #24 and Cap marches toward Armageddon. The week's releases also include 'Black Panther: Intergalactic' #4, 'Ultimates' #22, and 'Ultimate Wolverine' #15.

It's a big week for Marvel readers. On March 18, Paul Jenkins returns to the character he co-created for Sentry (2026) #1, Carnage squares off with Torment in The Amazing Spider-Man #24, and Steve Rogers continues his march toward Avengers: Armageddon in Captain America #8.
Sentry Is Back, and So Is the Void

He's been an Avenger, a Dark Avenger, and a Thunderbolt. Now Sentry #1, from creator Paul Jenkins and artist Christian Rosado, launches a high-stakes epic about Marvel's most dangerous hero—Robert Reynolds, the man with the power of a million exploding suns—and the dark entity born from his own psyche. When the Void resurfaces threatening to unravel reality, the Sentry must battle cosmic forces, criminal empires, and the monster within. Guest-starring Reed Richards, Spider-Man, and the Kingpin, it's a tale of impossible choices.
Death Spiral, Latveria, and Wakanda
In The Amazing Spider-Man #24 by Joe Kelly, Charles Soule, and Jesus Saiz, the "Death Spiral" arc rages on as Carnage faces off against Torment and the serial killer's latest murder leaves the Spider-Symbiote alliance shaken.
Elsewhere, Steve Rogers hunts Salvation in Latveria in Captain America #8 by Chip Zdarsky, Frank Alpizar, and Jan Bazaldua, forming a shaky alliance with the Latverian Liberators to take down the insurgent leader. Then Black Panther: Intergalactic #4 by Victor LaValle and Stefano Nesi continues the fallout of Imperial as T'Challa and Shuri reunite to face their fiercest enemy, with the entire Wakandan empire watching to see who will rise as emperor.

What This Means for Marvel Fans
If you've been waiting for a clean jumping-on point for a long-dormant character, Sentry #1 is the book of the week. Paul Jenkins writing Bob Reynolds again is a proper event—he created the character in 2000's The Sentry with Jae Lee. Meanwhile, Carnage vs. Torment and the Cap/Doom build-up toward Armageddon make this one of the most loaded single-week slates of the year. Marvel Unlimited subscribers can also catch up on the prior arcs before heading to their local shop.
