Attacker HP Remaining Returns to Scoring
The headline change for Season 39 is the comeback of Attacker HP Remaining as a scoring metric. For the uninitiated, Battlegrounds is the game's premier 1v1 PvP mode, where two Summoners draft attackers and defenders and trade fights for points. Tying score to how much health your attacker walks away with rewards clean, skillful play — a sloppy clear that leaves your champion on the ropes simply won't bank as many points as a flawless one.
