Doomsday is coming — and Marvel Studios has pulled back the curtain on the most anticipated MCU film in years. Across four teaser trailers released over consecutive weeks, Avengers: Doomsday has revealed a staggering roster of returning heroes converging for what promises to be an epic showdown.

Four Teasers, Four Teams

The first trailer, released December 23, delivered the jaw-dropping return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers. One week later, Chris Hemsworth stepped back into the spotlight as Thor. The third teaser, released January 6, sent fans into overdrive by teasing the return of the X-Men — with Patrick Stewart as Professor X, Ian McKellen as Magneto, and James Marsden as Cyclops.

The fourth and final teaser united the Wakandans and the Fantastic Four, starring Letitia Wright as Shuri/Black Panther, Winston Duke as M'Baku, Tenoch Huerta Mejía as Namor, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as the Thing.

Doom Has a New Face

Longtime Marvel collaborators Anthony and Joe Russo are directing the film. Robert Downey Jr., beloved for his iconic 10-film run as Tony Stark/Iron Man, returns in a bold new role as the legendary Marvel villain Victor von Doom.

The massive ensemble cast also features Vanessa Kirby, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Wyatt Russell, Simu Liu, Florence Pugh, Kelsey Grammer, Lewis Pullman, Danny Ramirez, Joseph Quinn, David Harbour, Hannah John-Kamen, Tom Hiddleston, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn, Channing Tatum, and Pedro Pascal.
