Epcot's Historic Transformation: Every Major Project Revealed
Epcot is undergoing the biggest transformation in Disney Parks history, unified into four new neighborhoods announced at D23 Expo. New experiences include a Mary Poppins attraction, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure, HarmonioUS, and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

A historic transformation is underway at Epcot inside Walt Disney World Resort — in fact, Walt Disney Imagineer Zach Riddley and Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products Chairman Bob Chapek called it the biggest transformation of any Disney Park in history. Announced at D23 Expo, the reimagined Epcot will be unified around four neighborhoods: World Showcase, World Celebration, World Nature, and World Discovery.
World Showcase Gets a Major Upgrade

- The United Kingdom pavilion will welcome the first attraction inspired by Mary Poppins.
- Guests will step in time down Cherry Tree Lane past Admiral Boom's house and into Number 17 — home of the Banks family.

- In 2020, HarmonioUS will debut as the largest nighttime spectacular for a Disney Park, with floating set pieces, custom LED panels, and choreographed fountains.
- Remy's Ratatouille Adventure is coming to the France pavilion in summer 2020, shrinking guests to Chef Remy's size for a race through Gusteau's restaurant. La Crêperie de Paris will also open with a menu from celebrity chef Jérôme Bocuse.
- The new Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, directed by Don Hahn, debuts January 2020.
- Canada Far and Wide in Circle-Vision 360 returns in January 2020 with new scenes.
- Wondrous China will take guests on a seamless 360-degree digital journey across China.
World Celebration, Nature, and Discovery

- The iconic Spaceship Earth will receive new scenes and narration reflecting the universal human experience.

- A three-level festival pavilion will become the new hub for Epcot's signature festivals and nighttime viewing.
- World Celebration will feature Dreamers Point — lush gardens, a wishing tree, an interactive fountain, and a statue honoring Walt Disney.

- Journey of Water, the first-ever experience inspired by Moana, lets guests play with magical living water along an exploration trail.
- The Land pavilion's new film Awesome Planet opens January 2020.

- Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind introduces the first reverse launch into space via a storytelling coaster that rotates to follow the action.

- Space 220, opening this winter, delivers daytime and nighttime views of Earth from 220 miles up.

- The PLAY! Pavilion opens for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World, featuring games, activities, and moments with Huey, Dewey, Louie, and Webby.
