Opening Day Begins with a Spider-Man Surprise
Opening day at Disney Adventure World began with a theatrical flourish: Spider-Man appeared atop the iconic Earffel Tower to officially reveal the park's new name to the crowd below. Shortly after, children from Make-A-Wish and their families were welcomed as the very first guests to walk along Adventure Way, the park's sweeping new main avenue. Lined by cast members, Walt Disney Imagineers, beloved Disney characters, and the Disney Marching Band, their emotional walk along the shores of Adventure Bay set the tone for the day as they became among the first guests ever to step into World of Frozen.

World of Frozen: Stepping Into Arendelle
Inside World of Frozen, guests were transported directly to the kingdom of Arendelle, where the family-friendly boat ride Frozen Ever After journeys through iconic scenes from the films using lifelike Audio-Animatronic figures and state-of-the-art projection technology. Nearby, the new daytime show "A Celebration in Arendelle" captivated audiences with Olaf, boats gliding across the water, and original music composed exclusively for the land. At Nordic Crowns Tavern, guests sampled a brand-new menu inspired by Nordic cuisine.

Raiponce Tangled Spin and Adventure Bay Dining
Guests also took their first spins on Raiponce Tangled Spin, the new family attraction along Adventure Way inspired by Tangled, which places riders in a gondola beneath a sky filled with glowing lanterns set to the iconic song "I See the Light." Voice actress Mandy Moore recorded exclusive audio announcements for the attraction. Throughout the day, guests sampled the wide variety of dining experiences along Adventure Bay, with character encounters, live music, and immersive details ensuring there was always something new around each corner.

Leadership Speaks at the Inauguration Ceremony
The public opening followed a spectacular inauguration ceremony the night before, where three senior Disney executives took the stage at Disneyland Paris. Josh D'Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences, reflected on the global reach of the Frozen franchise: "Few stories have resonated with fans around the world like Frozen. From the screen to our parks, cruises, and beyond, its impact continues to grow, and with World of Frozen and Disney Adventure World, we're giving guests at Disneyland Paris the opportunity to experience that story in entirely new ways."
Thomas Mazloum, Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company, added: "The reimagining of our second gate reflects the very best of what Disney represents: boundless imagination that brings people together." Natacha Rafalski, Présidente of Disneyland Paris, declared: "With Disney Adventure World, we're not only unveiling a reimagined second gate at Disneyland Paris; we're opening the door to a new era."

A Night of Music, Magic, and Make-A-Wish Milestones
The inauguration ceremony also featured a powerful musical sequence. French-American singer Santa performed "Into the Unknown" from Frozen 2 at an ice piano, before 10-year-old Lou from Make-A-Wish joined the stage to sing lines from "Do You Want to Build a Snowman?" alongside a next-generation robotic Olaf developed by Walt Disney Imagineering. The moment marked the 25,000th wish granted at Disneyland Paris since 1992. The evening concluded with a show-stopping finale: Santa returned to perform "Let It Go" alongside Anna, Elsa, and Olaf, with pyrotechnics and immersive lighting illuminating Arendelle Village and Adventure Bay.

The celebration drew international attention, with celebrities including French actors Lucas Bravo and Camille Razat, Spice Girl Emma Bunton, designer Christian Louboutin, and fashion house Coperni walking the red carpet.
What This Means for European Disney Fans
The opening of Disney Adventure World represents the most comprehensive overhaul of Disneyland Paris's second gate since the resort opened in 1992. With World of Frozen, Marvel Avengers Campus, and Worlds of Pixar now anchoring the park, and construction already underway on a Lion King-themed land, the resort's ambition for European guests has never been clearer.
