At The Game Awards 2024, Bethesda's Todd Howard and Troy Baker — who voices Indy in The Great Circle — arrived to present the award for Best Performance. Howard playfully noted that despite Baker's many celebrated game roles, he'd never won Best Performance. "They do give an award for best Indie game," Howard joked, "and I think everybody here can agree, you make a great case for best Indy performance."
