Disney Speedstorm Season 19 Patch Notes: Villainous Ever After Brings Star Progression, Adventure Road & Big Racer Buffs
Disney Speedstorm's Season 19 'Villainous Ever After' overhauls Racer progression with a new Star system, debuts a brand-new Adventure Road solo mode, and rolls out a sweeping wave of buffs covering nearly twenty Racers. The update launches April 9 and adds Tournaments and Vault Passes themed around Disney's Alice in Wonderland.

Gameloft is dropping the green flag on Disney Speedstorm Season 19 "Villainous Ever After" on April 9, and the patch notes show this is one of the most ambitious updates the kart racer has shipped in months. A reworked Racer progression system, a brand-new solo mode called Adventure Road, a quick-restart button, and a massive Racer balancing pass are all coming alongside the Disney Villains-themed season.

For players who have been grinding through the Season Tour and waiting for meaningful quality-of-life upgrades, this patch finally delivers. The Speedstorm team says nearly every system getting touched here is a direct response to community feedback, and it shows in how much of the kart racer's economy and progression is being rebuilt at once.
Season 19 Key Details
- Season Name: Villainous Ever After
- Theme: Disney Villains
- Launch Date: April 9, 2026
- Featured Tournament Collection: Disney's Alice in Wonderland
New Star-Based Racer Progression
The headline change is a full rework of how Racers level up. The old level system is being retired in favor of a clearer Star system, where every upgrade grants a small stat boost and crossing into a new full Star delivers a much bigger jump.
Existing progress carries over automatically, with current Racer levels rounded up to full Stars so nobody loses ground. A new 6th Star tier is also being added for even higher stat ceilings, and Racers can now be Supercharged starting at 5 Stars while still being able to reach that 6th Star independently of Supercharge.
The economy is shifting too: Upgrade Coins are being replaced by Tune Coins, with old coins converting to a maximum of 2,000 Tokens. Gameloft has published dedicated explainer and FAQ articles for players who want to dig into the math before launch.
Adventure Road: A Brand-New Solo Mode

Adventure Road is a brand-new solo mode built around Racer Collections. Much like Chapters in the Season Tour, each Collection now has its own set of Challenges and Missions to grind through, with rewards tailored to the Racers featured in that Collection.
At launch, players will be able to dive into Adventures for five fan-favorite Collections:
- Mickey and Friends
- Lilo & Stitch
- Aladdin
- Big Hero 6
- Zootopia
More Collections are planned for future updates. Rewards include Racer Shards, Suits, Deluxe Karts, Kart Colors, Avatars, and Frames. Each Collection also has its own Adventure Pass, with Adventure XP earned from Missions pushing players further down the reward track.
Retry Race and Quality-of-Life Fixes
Speedrunners and perfectionists finally get the button they've been asking for. A new Retry Race option lives in the Pause menu and works inside Season map races, event races against bots, and Grand Prix races. It's not available in races with an entry cost or limited tries, which keeps it from being abused in ranked-style content.
General fixes also simplify the flow of exchanging Duplicate Items for Season Coins, and the team has cleaned up a batch of small visual and audio bugs.
Racer Boost and New Supercharge Lineup

Four Racers are getting the Racer Boost spotlight in Season 19: Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, Flash, and Kuzco. On top of that, a fresh class of Supercharge Racers is unlocking, including Jasmine from Aladdin, Disgust, Joy and Ennui from Inside Out, Olaf from Frozen, and Baloo from The Jungle Book.
Alice in Wonderland Tournaments and Vault Pass
Season 19's Tournaments and Vault Passes pivot to Disney's Alice in Wonderland. All three Racers from that Collection (Alice, Mad Hatter, and the Queen of Hearts) will be in tournament rotation, giving Wonderland fans a focused stretch to chase shards and upgrades.
Racer Balancing: Buffs Across the Roster

The Racer Balancing pass is wide. Buffs are landing on a long list of characters that touches almost every Collection in the game:
- Aladdin
- Aurora
- Sergeant Calhoun
- Ennui
- Goofy
- Lilo
- Mad Hatter
- Maleficent
- Maui
- Moana
- Mrs. Incredible
- Oswald
- Prince Eric
- Queen of Hearts
- Russell
- Scrooge McDuck
- Snow White
- Tigger
- Mater
The most impactful systemic change ties into Autopilot:
- Autopilot scaling: Autopilot now scales with a Racer's Top Speed stat, including bonuses from Crew Members. The higher a Racer's Top Speed, the faster they move while Autopilot is active. The speed is locked in based on Top Speed before the race starts, so in-race boosts or slowdowns won't dynamically change Autopilot performance.
For competitive players, this is huge. It means Top Speed builds now have a clear secondary benefit, and Autopilot Racers who were previously lagging behind will scale much better with high-investment Crew setups.
What This Means for Speedstorm Players
Season 19 reads like a course correction as much as a content drop. The Star progression rework, Tune Coin conversion, and Autopilot scaling change all suggest Gameloft is trying to make late-game investment feel more rewarding, while Adventure Road gives solo players a real reason to keep logging in between Season Tour chapters. Combine that with a long buff list and an Alice in Wonderland tournament block, and Villainous Ever After is shaping up to be one of the better times in a while to either jump back in or finally push your favorite Racer to that new 6th Star. Mark April 9 on your calendar.
