Disney Dreamlight Valley: Whispers of the Wind Update Brings Pocahontas, Meeko, and Olaf's Grand Exhibition
The Whispers of the Wind update adds Pocahontas and her companion Meeko to Disney Dreamlight Valley, introduces Olaf's Grand Exhibition, the Elements of Nature Star Path, a new Star Path Vault system, and two seasonal events.

The wind is calling Valley Villagers to new magic. Disney Dreamlight Valley's Whispers of the Wind update is now live on all platforms, bringing Pocahontas — and her loyal raccoon companion Meeko — to the Valley for the very first time. On top of a brand-new main story arc, the update also unveils Olaf's Grand Exhibition, the nature-themed Elements of Nature Star Path, a new Star Path Vault system, and two seasonal events.
A Journey in the Heart of Nature
To begin the Pocahontas storyline, players first need to have Moana as a Villager and have unlocked both the Dazzle Beach and Forest of Valor biomes. Once those prerequisites are met, a gentle, mysterious wind will begin to guide the player's path.
Join Moana and follow the swirling leaves as they lead you toward a soft glow across the ocean, where something magical awaits. Together, you and Moana will uncover Memories on a mysterious island tied to a rare natural event that once lit up the Valley — and you'll meet a new friend along the way. It's classic Dreamlight Valley storytelling: a slow, warmhearted reveal built around exploration and companionship.
Bringing the Celestial Celebration to Life
Players will help Pocahontas prepare a Celestial Celebration, a Valley festival honoring the Moontide Glow — a magical phenomenon that lights up the waters of Dazzle Beach. Everyone in the Valley has a role to play, from preparing food to crafting decorations and setting the scene for the festival itself.
As you progress, you'll deepen your bond with Pocahontas, unlock nature-inspired rewards, and eventually welcome Meeko as a new companion. For Pocahontas fans who have been waiting years for this character to join the Valley, it's a well-earned arrival.
Olaf's Grand Exhibition Opens
The big surprise of the update is a brand-new feature called Olaf's Grand Exhibition — a special hub where players can showcase their collections and celebrate their achievements in the Valley. At launch, players can explore rooms dedicated to the Peaceful Meadow and Dazzle Beach, where they can:
- Display flowers in Dioramas
- Show off fish in Aquariums
- Celebrate companions in Habitats
Completing each display unlocks decorations that can be placed anywhere in your Valley, with more rooms coming in future updates. It's a welcome nod to the core loop of Dreamlight Valley — collection and customization — and gives long-time players a fresh reason to re-engage with content they may have already completed.
Elements of Nature Star Path
The Elements of Nature Star Path brings the outdoors in. Collect charming furniture, whimsical nature-inspired outfits, and befriend the adorable Hermit Garden Turtle as you work through the Star Path's duties.
Star Path Vault — A Brand-New System
This update also introduces Vault rewards, a brand-new way to earn select items from past Star Paths by completing Routine Duties. Vault rewards will appear gradually throughout the update, with some surprises along the way. If you missed a coveted item from an earlier Star Path, the Vault is your second chance — a change that long-time Valley Villagers have been asking for. Gameloft has a separate Q&A blog dedicated to the new system.
New in the Premium Shop: Colors of Nature
The Premium Shop adds a new Colors of Nature Collection. Highlights include fresh looks for Goofy's Stall and the Wishing Well, the Natural Pergola Set, and two playful swirling wind leaf effects. Players can also meet a brand-new companion, Percy — Pocahontas's pampered pug from the 1995 Disney film.
Crafting Improvements
The Crafting menu and Uncrafting Station both receive quality-of-life upgrades. Expect new search bars, smarter filters, and a cleaner layout — small changes individually, but genuinely welcome for anyone with a massive inventory and a busy Valley.
Seasonal Valley Events
Two limited-time events are running inside the Whispers of the Wind window:
Valley Event Schedule

- Treasure Hunt Event: May 27 – June 9 — Dig up Treasure Cracks, follow clues, uncover hidden rewards, and fish for extra treasures.
