New Characters Making Their Disney Cruise Line Debut
The new Black Panther — the newest protector of Wakanda following the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever — will be available for a dedicated heroic encounter, giving guests their first opportunity to meet the character in a Disney Cruise Line setting. Okoye, the fearsome general of the elite Dora Milaje, joins the event with an entirely new interactive show built around her character.
Heroes Unite Nighttime Spectacular and Warriors of Wakanda
Black Panther will appear in Heroes Unite, the signature nighttime spectacular that anchors Marvel Day at Sea with special effects, live stunts, and pyrotechnics. On a separate stage, the new show Warriors of Wakanda takes place in the ship's atrium, inviting guests to train alongside the Dora Milaje under Okoye's command in an interactive family experience.

What This Means for Marvel Fans on Disney Cruise Line
The addition of Black Panther and Okoye brings the Wakanda Forever story directly into the cruise experience at a moment of peak cultural relevance, and marks the first time either character has appeared in the Disney Cruise Line environment. With Warriors of Wakanda as a brand-new atrium show and Heroes Unite integrating the new Black Panther into its pyrotechnics-driven spectacle, the 2023 edition of Marvel Day at Sea is the most expansive version of the event to date.
