Marvel Day at Sea Heads to Galveston, Pixar Day at Sea Returns in 2026

Disney Cruise Line is expanding its fan-favorite themed sailing program in 2026 with two major developments. For the first time ever, Marvel Day at Sea will sail out of the Port of Galveston, Texas, aboard the Disney Magic starting in January. Simultaneously, Pixar Day at Sea returns to the Disney Fantasy sailing from Port Canaveral, bringing beloved characters from Toy Story, The Incredibles, and more.

Disney Cruise Line is bringing back two of its most popular themed sailing events in 2026 with some new twists. Marvel Day at Sea will debut from the Port of Galveston, Texas—a first for the event—aboard select Disney Magic sailings beginning in January 2026. Meanwhile, Pixar Day at Sea returns to the Disney Fantasy out of Port Canaveral, Florida, also launching in January.

Marvel Day at Sea Arrives in Texas

Texas is getting its first-ever Marvel Day at Sea experience aboard select four- and five-night Disney Magic voyages departing the Port of Galveston. The event transforms a full day of the cruise into an immersive Marvel Universe experience, featuring character encounters, special themed dining, exclusive merchandise, and a climactic nighttime deck spectacular.

Characters appearing during Marvel Day at Sea include Spider-Man, Captain America, Captain Marvel, Thor, Loki, and Black Panther, among dozens of heroes and villains from across the Marvel multiverse.

Onboard Marvel Experiences

The day features a wide range of programming across the ship. In the Fathoms lounge, a big-band USO show pays tribute to Captain America with vintage dance numbers and an appearance from the Star-Spangled Man himself. In the atrium, guests can join Wakanda Warriors Training led by Okoye, General of the Dora Milaje. Younger guests can test their abilities at the Avengers Training Initiative youth activity sessions.

Classic Disney characters also get into the heroic spirit during Mickey and Minnie's Super Hero Celebration, where Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and friends don Marvel-inspired gear.

The day culminates with Marvel Heroes Unite, a signature nighttime deck spectacular featuring live stunts, special effects, and fireworks at sea as heroes and villains engage in a multiverse-spanning battle of destiny.

Pixar Day at Sea Returns to the Disney Fantasy

Pixar Day at Sea is back for 2026 aboard select five-night Disney Fantasy sailings from Port Canaveral. The event brings characters and stories from Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., The Incredibles, Inside Out, and Coco to life throughout the ship, beginning with the Hey Howdy Breakfast—a Toy Story-themed musical dining experience.

• Crush's Totally Awesome Pool Party on the upper decks, with dances and games hosted by Crush's Pixar Party Patrol
