First Look: Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point Merchandise Collections

Ahead of the summer 2024 opening of Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point on the Bahamian island of Eleuthera, Disney Cruise Line has previewed three exclusive merchandise collections that will be available only at the new destination. The collections draw on Junkanoo traditions, Bahamian art, and the island's tropical character — and include a collaboration with Eleuthera-born fashion designer Theodore Elyett.

Junkanoo — the longstanding Bahamian tradition of colorful street parades — is one of the cultural anchors of Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. This collection translates those vivid hues and festive patterns into wearable Disney fashion, weaving in references to Mickey Mouse. The lineup includes a spirit jersey, a designer Loungefly backpack, and a matching ear headband.

Mickey and Minnie Plush

The Lookout Cay-exclusive Mickey and Minnie plush feature tropical Bahamian outfits designed for the destination.

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse received custom tropical looks created for Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point: a Bahamian-twist on Minnie's iconic polka dots, and conch shell-patterned shorts for Mickey. Those designer outfits are now available in plush form, sized to fit easily in luggage. The plush are exclusive to Lookout Cay and will not be available elsewhere in the Disney Cruise Line fleet or at Disney Parks.

Theodore Elyett Artist Spotlight Collection

Acclaimed Bahamian fashion designer Theodore Elyett — the same artist who created the custom tropical outfits for Mickey and Minnie — has a dedicated collection at Lookout Cay. Born and raised on Eleuthera, Elyett designed a clothing line rooted in Bahamian visual culture: bright colors, intricate patterns, and the straw weaving commonly seen in local art. The spotlight collection includes men's and women's apparel alongside the eye-catching ear headband. Disney Cruise Line has committed to partnering with a rotating roster of Bahamian artists throughout the island's architecture, decor, and merchandise, with Elyett's collection serving as the launch collaboration.

Where to Find These Collections

All three merchandise collections are exclusive to Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and will be available when the destination opens in summer 2024. Because the items are island-only, guests must be booked on a Disney Cruise Line itinerary that includes Lookout Cay as a port of call. Upcoming sailings can be browsed at DisneyCruise.com.
