Disney Adventure Makes History with Asia Debut and Singapore Maiden Voyage
The Disney Adventure has set sail on its maiden voyage from Singapore, becoming Disney Cruise Line's eighth ship and marking the brand's first foray into the Asian cruise market.

History was made on March 10 as the Disney Adventure departed Singapore on its maiden voyage, becoming Disney Cruise Line's eighth ship and its first to be homeported in Asia.
A Strategic Expansion
The Disney Adventure expands The Walt Disney Company's presence in one of the fastest-growing travel regions in the world. "We think about this ship as a brand ambassador as Disney Cruise Line continues to visit more people in more places around the world," said Joe Schott, President of Disney Experiences Product & Design.
The ship's inaugural season features three- and four-night cruises from Singapore, offering magical days at sea paired with port stops across Southeast Asia.
The Bigger Picture
With five additional Disney ships launching between 2027 and 2031, the growth of Disney Cruise Line reflects the company's ambitious expansion across Disney Experiences. The Disney Adventure represents not just a new ship, but a new era for Disney at sea — one that spans continents and brings Disney storytelling to audiences who may never have visited a Disney theme park.
